The community is going to want to see vayne nerfs on the pbe at some point

If next week rolls around and vayne isnt in the final changes, there is going to be a lot of righteous anger.

She is overtuned. It isnt other champs being weak, it isnt runes hard favoring her or items (although a strong case could be made for kneecapping guinsoos), the champ is inherently broken.

Nerf her W, nerf her R.

Revert her R changes entirely and revert her season 8 w late game buffs.

Not rocket science. No one gives a fuck about her being viable for LCS, her current state isnt fucking worth it, and if your monetization issues for LCS says anything, its that no amount of BIG PLAYZ is going to make esports more popular and financially solvent if it hurts the hell out of actual player experience.

The community also wants to see Yasuo gutted into the ground. The community thinks Mages are too weak. The community also thinks that mages are too strong. The community is not a single entity, what you really have is the portion of the community who doesn't like Vayne coming to the boards to complain, and then being vocal.

Are they wrong to? No, not at all. I'm getting rather tired of Vayne myself, but 'the community wants' is not a valid reason alone to do something. It's an indicator that maybe something is up, and deserves looking into, but 'the community wants' is not the end line.

You're splitting hairs, that wasnt the primary point of the post it was meant to call attention to the fact that riot has been content to ignore vaynes over buffed state for almost what a month and a half now?

Even if the community is quite controversial in their opinions, opinions don't matter at all:

The stats says that a suposedly high skill floor champion has a winrate of about 51% in the weaker elos up to 54% in some others, while being present in at least one game every 4 games and banned in about 1/3 of the games. For a champion who's suposed strength is in late game in a meta where late game doesn't exist in most games anymore, performing this well for a majority of games on such a niche and difficult champion is busted. Doesn't matter how you look at it and it doesn't matter which opinions are concerned, Vayne is a blatant balance problem who ironically confirms the bias Riot has when buffing champions for skin sales because of her R buff introduced before her lunar revel skin still being present even if some less impactful things got hotfixed immediatly in the past.

Well. She should be an anti tank champion. We are not in tank meta and she is still kinda broken. I think she is overbuffed because she should never be op in damage meta.

Plenty of evidentiary appeals have been made already. This post isn't my first with regards to the lunacy that is Vayne's current balance state.

it technically is but i'm not sure what server china is. 30% of players world-wide play her, 30% of people ban her and she has a 51% win rate

it would take them literally minutes to implement the promised changes to vayne if she was too strong or frustrating...it's been several months and her pick rate never dropped below 20%

I couldn't even bring myself to do the watch missions in a background tab since riots reward system didn't even work.

They told me on Twitter that if they need to nerf they are going to make the 9.1 change scale with rank of ultimate
