Every drake has it's own strategy behind it.
Wind drake favors roaming.
Water drake favors poke and siege.
Earth drake favors objective control.
Infernal drake makes you biggerer and betterer.

And infernal drake is the most broad and effective "Strategy"
With infernal drake you're trying to pick fights more often or push waves harder. It's the simplest but it's not exactly true damage against objectives.
Watching your entire base die in the span of about 10 seconds to a team with triple earth drags and baron suggest otherwise.
Split pushing teams would prefer some combination of Wind and Earth, siege teams want earth and water, for example. The fire drag is good for all, making it broad, but it isn't optimal for every team comp or strategy by a long shot.
infernal drake is also good to split push
infernal drake is just stupid, because it increases your poke your split pushing, your pushing and fighting power
it should just be removed
Good for split push but mountain is better. The objective of split pushing is to create map pressure your opponents have to respond to and get objectives in the process. Mountain does that better where as Infernal just makes you a better duelist.
It's good for siege but again water does it better. Water lets you regen mana and health much faster than your opponents giving you the ability to poke longer due to having more mana to spend and more health to absorb said poke. Sure your poke might hit harder with fire but aside for a few fringe case champs poke isn't going to send anyone back to the fountain if enemy tanks are positioning properly.
The difference is optimization. In general fire drake is strong and effective at pretty much everything. The other drakes however are specialized and make you optimal at a specific thing. That's the difference.
Ahh yes. The Wind Drake. My personal favorite. Makes it easier to run it down mid faster. <3.
