I think that trinity force and ibg need greater distinction from each other

Right now those items are in a state of if the champ would build one then they can probably build the other. They are both sheen items built by champs that build little to no damage and since unlike lich bane there in no other stat scaling there is little loss for either option chosen. I think there should be a more solid distinction of one magic sheen item, one tanky sheen item, and one AD sheen item.

Tforce gives you more damage. IBG give you defense and utility.

The items are plenty different from one another.

IBG gives damage as well, as long as your champ can proc Sheen reliably. Triforce gives utility with the MS. Like OP said, IBG's Sheen passive could see a change in the scaling.

It gives far less damage.

Triforce gives utility with the MS.

... comparing phage MS to Iceborn slow field in terms of utility is not a valid argument.

Like OP said, IBG's Sheen passive could see a change in the scaling.

I fail to see how past the assertion that it does. The field already scales with Armor.

your second statement is a valid argument for the op. Just saying. Cause lets be honest, iceborns "utility" shines in solo fights, no ones buying it for teamwide slows (I literally have zero recognition of dying to ibg besides duels), theyre buying it for ezreal poke bot lane..

I agree with the op, due to the fact that in 90% of fights, having either one will give the same result. Youre trading 10 pennies for a dime.

you get the MS passive from phage/triforce just for autos regardless if your proc sheen passive or not

iceborn you only get the aoe slow that scales with armor after you use an ability that procs the sheen passive and you auto afterwards using the on hit effects

BIG FUKIN DIFFERENCE

Not really, movespeed on auto, paired with passive movespeed, basically makes the utility on these items speed wise, exactly the same. Especially considering tenacity, which does nothing to triforce and everything to ibg. Iceborns utility only exceeds tri forces in cases of an entire enemy team being grouped without merctreads/swifties, the hp on triforce even makes up for around 50% of iceborns armor but is also effective against magic damage. Honestly triforce outshines the shit out of ibg.

no not at all cuz you get + ms from item 3078 just having it so not only do you get +5% ms that scales with boots and the phage passive, you still get the phage passive iceborn does not provide any movment speed boost

I agree. For top champs that want sheen go triforce, for sup tanks that like sheen, i take ibg. They provide very different benefits and stats.

Yes im bronze, im aware my opinion doesnt matter
