Don't say 'X person doesn't do anything in fights' when...

  1. ##Their role isn't to teamfight in the first place.
  2. ##You're directly impeding their ability to teamfight. If your role is to peel, peel. If your role is to engage, engage. If your role is to zone a carry out of the fight, zone them. Don't blame your AD Carry for getting zoned out of a fight because you burned your Braum ult offensively, or because you were sitting in the backline instead of sitting on their immobile Jhin's face.
  3. ##You're forcing fights that shouldn't happen. It's not even just fight when you're behind or fucking with a numbers disadvantage. Don't fight if the scenario doesn't meet favourable conditions. A really simple example of this is when you have a Teemo on your team. So often, there's a plethora of Noxious traps in a section of the map. Draw the enemy into these. Use neutral objectives to force them into the area or use them to kite. Don't force your Teemo to teamfight in the middle of a lane - you're denying him meaningful access to 50% of his potential damage.

Honestly, even in the past week I've encountered each of these scenarios on multiple occasions. Some of it stems from players who genuinely don't understand their role within a team, some of it stems from players who don't understand their teammate's roles within a team, and some of it stems from not know their teammate's kit or the interactions between the two kits.

Don't say 'X person doesn't do anything in fights' when...

You force fights constantly as the ADC, are out of position most of the game, and you bring the enemy down onto your allies when you've already guaranteed your own death by going in the first place without...

A plan. Vision. Back up. An escape.

I mean, forcing a fight (probably no more than a small skirmish) as the AD Carry is fine if you can consistently pull it off but other than that I agree. And when people make a stupid move like Dashing in range of some sort of AoE point-and-click and Flashing it back into their team.

I usually get this while playing a splitpush jungler, team will try to force fights even when they've lost the last 2 they tried to fight, instead of defending and farming til they even out they just keep trying to fight, it's stupid.

Splitpush junglers are a bit of a cancer unless you're playing someone that can afford to run TP over Ghost/Flash. On someone like Shyvanna you can play the teamfight like a Mundo, or like an Assassin cleaning up isolated targets depending on how tanky you are.

3 inhibs down, oncoming minion waves pushing the base, only a single nexus tower left. My team decides to go teamfight.
