Is it possible to do better in rank games than in normal games?

What I mean by this is, I'm going way better in rank games than I am in normal games is it because I'm more likely to play people of my skill level in rank than I am in normal games?

You're probably focusing a lot more when you're playing ranked games.

I try to treat every game like it's rank I'm guessing it has a lot more to do with in normals people are trying their hardest to get as many kills as possible while in rank they're trying to win ultimately, me I'm just trying to gather up as many runes as I can to fill up my pages so I feel confident to go back and start playing rank against btw this is on my other account.

I fine normal games to be 100x easier than ranked games. Much friendlier too.

My suspicions have been confirmed I'm getting my ass kicked because I'm playing against everyone and they are all better than me, their high gold low plat players and just found out that they can group up and do more than 2 people and it'll just simply average out their mmr so I'm solo with a mmr rating of below zero so they're putting me on a team where everyone on my team has high mmr against another flex team that also is way higher up than my ello is. Thanks riot you are so awesome for completely fucking me over and countless others in this game. I now understand why people are stuck in bronze they can't get better because people suck in bronze and they aren't learning when they win since snowballing is so dramatic it's too easy so when they finally do meet someone of their same skill or better they get romp stomp because they aren't used to it. Therefore it's hard to get better in bronze I can see silver it being a little easier to improve mechanics but bronze it's like impossible it's either you are naturally really good at this game just needed to catch up a bit and you get out of your stuck in bronze and will never get out. All in all glad I kind of figured that out.
