what i mean is will having a certain level of champ mastery on a particular champ be required to play him/her/it in ranked? maybe not level 6 or 7 but maybe 4 or 5 so that people have at least some experience with the champ they are playing. the system is still relatively new so maybe not this season but maybe the next.
How would you do this though, I mean without killing the amount of players in que making the time 20x larger. What I am saying here is how many level 4-5 champs would you need to enter a ranked DRAFT? As it stands you pick two roles top and mid lets say and you have 2x champs at lvl 4plus for each role you chose but you got mid and both of them are banned? What are you left with does it make you dodge? So then you would need 7 champs for your role at lvl 4 plus otherwise 6 could be banned out (not saying would but could).
IT DOES SOUND COOL THOUGH But it would make que times impossible.
I would love to see this happen, but it would kill queue timers.
I think this is a great idea. I had two Talyiah's in ranked on my team on her first day... Needless to say, we lost.
Runes and Full Masteriy Pages should be a requirement for ranked.
They will decrease normal queue times and get rid of casuals in ranked. Win/win.
Champion Mastery would kill the ranked Queue. Don't even think about it. It would become a wasteland. I don't want to get mastery five on 5 champions I've been playing before they even came out with Champ Masteries.
