why morgana mid is a thing again? / is the game getting easier and easier each season?
are we back at season 4-5 or something? (morgana mid)
is it me , or the game changes from a strategy game to "pick the stronger champion" game ?

What's wrong with morgana mid?
nothing , just wondering how people remember her on mid lane
I haven't seen much of her honestly unless it was on my own hands. I pick her to counter Ap assassins reliant on a specific ability(like fizz) or heavy early pushers (like ekko) since she can match the push. Sometimes even when I want the black shield for an hypercarry (my to go peeler was lulu but after her q changes I find clearing waves a pain).
i don't know ... i mean morgana is all about her Q if you miss that all the times , you can't do much stuff to be honest mid specialy against champions with high mobility , you must play really safe
I don't even skill Q until level 4 xD I take w- E (should an early gank happen I am safe)- w and just afk push. I save q for after all-ins because if it hits chances are I can ult and kill them or force their flash. Then sometimes they stand in my W until they are low so I get greedy go ham miss Q and die xD if all went according to plan I should back to lane with gold advantage due to higher Cs so I freeze (or try to) unless I want to shove quickly to roam while they can't follow me without loosing 1 full wave. All the time I lost against an assassin I either misplayed going aggressive or got properly punished for the push by their jungler (but in low elo it's not very common)
got nerfed. Her base dmgs and waveclear are good enough to take advantage of that.
That's my guess. She's always been "good" there, just better relative to others now.
We make it sound like that nerf on Dring was just massive but it really wasn't lol, it was more meant to effect the top lane mage tanks such as Naut, Grag, Mao, Malph, and Galio.
2 Drings into a lost Chapter well give you enough mana and mana regen to keep you golden throughout lane phase, not getting the 2nd Drings passive isn't gonna destroy or make it not worth buying a 2nd (or in the case of top laners a 3rd).
I know it wasn't but there is context to what I wrote.
Some people playing mid would get 2-3 into Ludens or another non-mana item. Until they adjust their build path appropriately, Morg mid will work wonders into those players.
That's not really why Morg mid is weak or strong.
I've played as and against my fair share of Morg mid throughout my 4 year career, she's good because shes boring. Walk up W the wave walk away. She can't die because she has a Magical CC blocking Shield and if you miss play she has a shit ton of burst to just end you.
Champions like Orianna, Vel, Vik, Ziggs, Lux, etc can match her push and just play a farm lane against her while having more reliable damage for teamfights.
I haven't seen a Morgana mid in a very long time... at least a year.
Not that it's bad, per se, but I just don't see it. I guess with ten bans and the usuals being banned or nerfed; Ahri, Zed, Fizz, Yasuo then it somewhat opens the door for Morg to become a bit more common in mid.
I love Morgana mid. She's surprisingly safe, and excels at matching tough waveclear opponents like Ekko or Ziggs. All you gotta do is drop your stinky dirt and the wave is gone! At level 5, with just a Doran's Ring, your W completely clears the ranged minions and leaves the melee minions within autoattack threshold.
My favorite thing to do is clear the backline and force my opponent to come up to kill the melee minions and eat a shitload of harass from me
