people need to be punished for poor performance in their ranked matches

im not saying bans or anything from the game that won't fix anything.

what im proposing is harsher LP losses or longer death timers in the game.

people shouldn't be 4-16 while someone on their team went 9-3.

If I worked hard to try and win a game I should be rewarded in some way shape or form.

not losing a shit ton of my LP and being insulted by bad players on my team who try and put blame on others instead of their self.

I fail to see how making them fall even further behind and putting your team at a further disadvantage is advantageous at all.

They are, in a sense; it's called losing Rank. You do good you get rewarded by climbing. You do average you stay around where you belong. You do bad you tend to fall.

I see that you don't play on that account, so there's no way to see if you can improve in any areas. You can't make everyone else play better, but you can improve yourself if you're willing to accept that your team isn't likely to carry you.

This would not be fair for the people who are just having a bad game. They could be an awesome player but just having a few bad games (which happens to everyone every once in a while). However, I have always wondered how come you can't lose/gain LP based on _your _ performance alone, unless of course you're doing a teams ranked game.

They are punished.. they lose LP. And if they are a habitual feeder you can bet they're already losing more LP for the loss than someone who is losing 1/3 or 1/4 games.

Not sure what longer death timers would accomplish, since that just makes your team 1 man short for even longer which will most certainly cost you the game.

IMO if you have 16 deaths+ you should lose more LP

If you have 16+ deaths it's more likely that you are feeding and trying to go down in Rank. This would only encourage them. If you are just having a really bad match, getting shit on by a penalty afterwards would suck; if you are int feeding, you need to be banned.
