woodvsmurph1 votesYeah when reworks buff support brand who was already too strong, when adc's only seem to get less intelligent, when team backs up clearly unintelligent ADC instead of a solid support, when enemy support can run Leblanc and never build support items then for some reason people start quitting the support role. Or at least that is a few of the reasons I stopped maining it. Used to be able to carry as sona or morg with only 1 other person being anything above average. Could essentially 2v5 carry a game if playing at my best. Innovated support morg a season before anyone else and would 2v3 beat the crap out of enemy bot despite enemy jungler camping as long as my ADC wasn't total trash. Innovated support but before he was the rage too and support Shen before his 2recent fads in bot. But when adc's are too dumb to be carried, when they blame you all game long, when team backs them instead of you, or when you can snowball bot only to get camped by 4 all game while mid top and jungle refuse to help you and they still manage to feed then yeah there's not much motivation to play support. So I can see how you get in such high level games with everyone leaving the role.

It's actually not different, as anyone with a plat border got plat LAST season (before DQ). This means that a plat border in silver means just regular old boosting (not DQ), a lot of luck, or just straight up not giving a fuck about ranked this season (all of which are completely valid non-DQ reasons).

I'm plat5 with a silver border but I only dynaQ'd once when I was back in Silver 3...and that was only until Silver 2 cause my teammates sucked, where it hardly matters. I soloQ'd the rest of the way to plat. Hit plat 3 before bad luck with teammates started fucking my matches up hardcore.

because people dont tend to tryhard in normals and pick champs they cant play. I am a horrible lee sin for example and I will play him in normals and feed my ass off, doesnt mean just because people are diamond they have to dumbster you with every champion pick ( and they still do in 90% of the cases anyway ~).

Well to be fair it seemed after soft reset a lot of plat players dropped into silver elo. However, if you still find yourself in silver elo after a good number of games then yea probably uninstall or stop getting boosted.

Getting boosted by a duo (one other person) wasn't always gonna work out, but if 2 or more people come together to carry a shitlord they will probably succeed.

My normal mmr is so freaking wack from summer binge playing now that I'm 80% of the time playing with diamonds or even a challenger or two so ranked is a lot less stressful. Got to gold 1 and climbing.

Something like 9% of players are still willing to learn from others instead of calling you toxic for trying to help them play better and make good decisions. And even if not, you or someone else can still snowball and carry possibly. I've won with idiots for bot, a decent mid that was just having a rough early game and a mediocre jungler. You can too.
