Prepare to get your LoL experience ruined because there is an assassin champion dealing tons of damage, with dashes and insane mobility, dealing as much cc as a tank, and a life saver ult with even a longer time and range than Zed's.

Is stated he is an assassin. Assassins specialize in dealing lots of damage.

A utility assassin (which is one hell of a contradiction).

They even say, in that same fucking sentence, that he doesnt have anywhere near as much damage as actual assassins like Zed or Le Blanc.

I'll see you crying for nerfs when the jungle Ekko dives your mid turret and then comes back as far as his mid turret almost totally healed.

To be fair, the last time they said an assassin would have DPS rather then Burst was when they released Fizz... I want to believe Ekko is going to actually be a "utility assassin," it looks really fun. But I'm really worried that in Riot's internal testing, someone's gonna say, "You know... All of this dashing and stuff is fun and all, but not being able to kill everyone just doesn't feel satisfying. Let's buf his damage."

He's probably going to be more of a light fighter, than an assassin. He obviously not a kill assassin like Zed or leblanc, and he has no resets so he's not like kat, or akali either.

By assassin they mean yi, Yasuo, Xin Zhao, and other auto attack focused fighters. I'm just not sure whether he will be built assassin or fighter, or even bruiser.

the thing is they said that Yasuo, Riven, Yi, Fizz, etc. were going to be light fighters with high sustained damage that build mostly offense but some durability that survive with a mix of mobility and tankiness. They didn't specifically say that they were going to be straight assassins that kill with burst damage the way they did in say, Kha'Zix's champion spotlight. It'd be great if Ekko was like Yi, Riven or Yasuo, but if he turns out like Fizz...
