At that time I am at 2.5-3 items so no way I can tank in teamfights if they have a hyper fed adc.

Now if you mean an actual tank like Leona then you need to set up kills on whoever is vulnerable and work your way up to the big prize, the bounty on the fed enemy.

If you are playing a shitty tank that shouldn't really be called a tank like Malphite then just get some damage and take one for the team so they can trade you in for the big prize

If you are just full of it and referring to something like Nunu or DrMundo as a tank then you just need to come up with a strategy to help one of your teammates farm and manage to make a difference before you run out of towers, you're screwed for now, should have played a real tank

even riot doesn't agree with every riot listing but its there to help noobs. Malphite is a fighter but if you want to pretend he's a tank sure, when enemy adc is fed to shit and you cant deal with it at the end of the day you either follow the advice or you don't. If he's such a tank perhaps you'll build real tanky and slow the enemy to death lol. Malphite lockdown too stronk amirite? Or you could just kill them..
