She's a safer pick.
True, she is a somewhat safe pick into many lanes. And with assassin being gutted so much she really doesn't have as much pressure on her as she used to.

But you know what the biggest problem is? Ekko isn't safely afk clearing waves. You're letting him. He's using the skill he maxes first on the minion wave at well within retaliation distance. Attack him. Sacrilegious I know but it really is possible.

Why are you afraid of attacking him? An Ekko that is using his Q on the wave literally cannot kill you. Just walk up and attack him every time he does this. Ekko is not a tanky champion; do this just a few times and he'll suddenly not want to walk up and Q the entire wave anymore.
Edit: Downvotes really? Point out 1 thing wrong with what I said and I'll accept it. Refuse and you're proving you're just salty about what I said but that you don't actually have an argument against it.

Skip AAAALLL the way to season 6, and his Q is nerfed specifically for his ability to freely farm under tower with little-to-no cost or risk while also having significant poke at the same time. His farming (waveclear) was considered too safe.

And at another point he got increased damage reduction on his shuriken, which also reduced his ability to poke.
archerno15 votesHe cant. He needs to use 2x Q to clear wave at lvl 5 and he needs 26 ap from runes to do it. Morgana can do it in 1 W with just 15 bonus ap from runes. Ahri like Ekko can do it with 2x q. So can Xerath, Taliyah, Ziggs.
