Is eves perma stealth really being removed?

I guess we will find out tomorrow but im hearing rumors her stealth s time limited like twitch. I guess they had no choice if she wants to stay as an assassin.

I don't have a quote but I am almost positive they confirmed she kept her stealth, because they considered it to be her core identity.

I remember that too but it prob changed. If her new stealth last longer than twitch stealth AND it resets then its a fair trade to lose the perma for more power. But if its timed then she needs that reset. Take it off twitch, he never needed it to begin with.

I have a feeling she will be really powerful. A lot power was actually wasted in Evelynns old kit. You know, being able to be invisible forever without a cost needs to have drawback and they kept her really weak with mediocre scaling, weak damage overall not a lot of mobility and almost no CC.

Her glass canon builds on current eve is nothing to laugh at, problem is she HAS to be ahead to pull it off.

I have a feeling that she'll have a long duration stealth but it won't be infinite. I bet that it'll be an active or something of the sort.

I posted a concept for an Evelynn rework a few months back, and even as a hardcore Eve fan, I knew that free permanent stealth had to go...

My concept gave her the OPTION to prema stealth, but it would cost her mana. It looked like this:

W: Shadow Step / Fade to Black

Shadow Step - Cost 40/50/60/70/80 mana; 3 second cool down. Passive - Taking damage from an enemy champion will change Shadow step into Fade to Black for 3 seconds. Active - Evelynn is camouflaged for 5/10/15/20/25 seconds (reveal range 400) If activated while already camouflaged, 50% of the mana cost is refunded.

Fade to Black - No cost; Cool down - 100/90/80/70/60 seconds Active - Evelynn turns Invisible and her Excitement will not deteriorate for 3/6/9/12/15 seconds. Shadow Step may not be used while Fade to Black is on cool down.

I figured something like this would help balance her stealth early game, when it's at its strongest. More mana for stealth = less for ganks.

But based on the new teasers, new Eve wont even be CLOSE to my minor overhaul. :P

From what i remember her stealth is becoming conditional, IE she needs to be near a wall (like taliyahs movespeed) in order to remain stealthed as it is currently a little dumb that she can get anywhere she wants in your lane and fuck you up, and all the laner has to do is keep the brush in check to ensure you have no vision wards

that leak was confirmed fake by a rioter and another rioter mentioned it would be very "lame" if her stealth was conditional. the INTERESTING part tho is that in that same leak it was mentioned she could phase through walls... and that ability was passed onto kayne. hmm... really makes you think doesnt it.

Tbh, im kinda hoping the wall thing is true, her perma stealth is actually the only reason her kit was kinda meh, making it so she has to follow a certain path to keep her stealth would allow for stronger abilities as it would feel more like, oh shit i fucked up and got caught rather then....oh shit i just left tower range to last hit that minion and eve killed me
