It might be a bit out of hand, when you finish it you now power clear jg insanely fast and stay fairly healthy, and you ganks on solo laners are absolutely ridiculous.

Out of 3 games i rushed it on Yi 2 of them i got disgustingly fed.

While it's obviously a broken item, exceeding .5 CS a minute is more difficult than getting disgustingly fed as Yi.
