C9 finds their form!

What A performance by the c9 lineup! I watched the 1st 2 games of the 2nd half of the group last night, so i saw vitality set the pace by getting the huge upset vs RNG (props also to Vitality for fighting so hard, they can definitely be proud of their performance), And then saw C9 keep up the pace by beating the defending champs!

This morning i watched thru the remaining games on youtube (didnt want to spoil the results by refreshing the official page), and C9 is looking world class playing excellently as a team AND making individual outplays I am hyped to see C9 make it through groups!

Well deserved and may the good form continue and get even better!

And then they lost to RNG after the one fluke

It is, sadly, inevitable that RNG will win worlds. Probably going to get a cheesy-ass Malz ult like they did at MSI

Dude, that was close. it was not a stomp. basically if you compare it to basketball game, RNG won by like 1 point scoring it as the buzzer went out.

IMO, 2 things cost them the game.

  1. Not starting Baron immediately after they won team fight.
  2. Jensen misclicked on the zeyzal that cost them the next fight. Watch closely at the final fight and you will see him stop to level up Zeyzal and it was discussed during the interview after the game. I am not 100% sure if Jensen meant to do it, but I don't think he would during a possible engage. He played like a God that game too.

There are no spoilers on the website?

If C9 plays like they did yesterday, they could beat anyone. If they fall back to their play-in performance, they will get wiped in quarters. Lets see.

If you know the teams playing, you can usually google the games and the games will pop up without showing the winners.

For instance, "C9 vs RNG Youtube" brings up the games but not who won. Of course if there is a tie breaker, that game will be on the list and be a spoiler. But for some time, it won't be first on he list.

Sometimes the entire broadcast is there for the googling. But not always. And if you can get lucky to hit that, you can watch the whole thing without a spoiler.

That had to be the best day ever at worlds. Defending champs and this years MSI winner. And NA 3 and EU 2 went toe to toe with them. The group of death was an appropriate name. I like how the pundits said oh yeah, RNG 6-0 all the way and Gen G will be #2 before yesterday's games. HAHA. OOOOOOOOOPS.

Looks like the Rookies on C9 and Vitality were all too big of greenhorns to know they were supposed to lose.
