Games are too one-sided in s7...

Well, I know this isn't big news, I have been reading this on the forum for a while. But this is so true. I am sure there is statistics to back this up. Games are short, and most often, the team who get 1 or 2 kill, or the first turret, dominate. Hence, game are one-sided (most often, there is of course some exceptions), which isn't very nice, losing or winning. Solutions are known: reduce FB turret, buff turret, for example. I think, another issue is that masteries increase the efficience of snowballing.

But, the game is still great!!!!! I just think this could get some tuning =) Cheers'

EDIT: it is like, only early game matters. And I love mid and late game, but there are less and less existant, which is a shame

I woudlnt say 1 sided. they are more flipfloppy.

The team that is winning in the first 30 minutes loses if they don't win in said first 30 minutes. And the shift is instantaneous. You will be playing and winning and then all of a sudden you are losing the game. Or the reverse. you'll be losing and all of a sudden you are winning.

Pretty much this. I've won and lost games off the back of one odd team fight after 30 min. I think baron tilts the game a little bit too hard and the inner towers/ hib are a bit too squishy.

Back in the day you'd back out of the enemy base and go for another objective after downing a hib, but nowadays you can usually end the game if you have a solid minion wave or baron buff

Pre FB turret, 70% winrate for people who took the first tower. Post FB turret, 72% winrate for people who took the first tower. Not much changed.

What about game length?

I'm pretty sure the game length has nothing to do with FB turret. It's probably people who die a ton which causes the enemy to snowball and get the FB turret. Snowballing seems really easy right now in this season.

Games that I have played and lost fb turret, we can still win or lose. It depends if we are feeding or getting fed that determines the game. FB turret has never really played a role in a win or loss for me. Just snowballing is too damn easy imo. If you lose a game and blame it on the fact that they got the FB turret, well there was probably more that happened than just losing the first turret.

Yeah, I agree. Why do you think snowballing is so easy in particular in s7?

Yea FB Turret can help with snowballing. But 400 gold to the other team isn't going to be the only reason you lose the game.

More people die due to the emphasis on first blood turret.

Prior to season first turret blood I prioritised top/mid lane. There are less kills and more distance to travel in order to achieve what you can down bot. But bot was always warded, was a shorter lane and had pretty crappy angles if you were blue side.

Now, you have weaker towers down bot which emphasises the whole 4man mumbo jumbo. You can achieve the same amount of kills in 15 seconds down bot through one gank, what would require 2 ganks (with maybe a minute of walking time/healing) and many visits to lane (to kill either top or mid turret) to match

game has almost always been this way. There have been very few times that i can recall where games aren't usually one sided
