From an old ww main: thanks Riot, new ww is great!

As an old ww OTP since season 4, playing in platinum, I was worried to lose the perma MS in fights, the AS boost, the blink suppress (good old flash ult)... But the new ww is great! Feels really good to land the ult, even if I miss tons of them. Also, I think he is well balanced. I noticed on op.gg that his winrate is very low at the moment, at every elo, but I guess this is because he is just out, and many players not used to ww gameplay are trying to learn him. Great job: amazing look and gameplay! Thanks =)

Try Righteous Glory on him :D

Getting blood hunt on someone, then popping Righteous Glory and ROCKET WOOF to chase them down...

So much fun.

I was worried about the rework before it dropped, but after getting some time to play it, I really do enjoy it. Only thing I hate is missing my ult. It seems easy to hit, but I've missed it more than I'd like to admit.

How'd you even manage to play him? i've been trying for 2 days now.

I've been doing a bit of experimenting and I find it works best to go straight tank with a titanic hydra. Your W passive will cap out your attack speed at later ranks, so things like BotRK and Bloodrazor are unnecessary for the most part. In the jungle I've found that maxing W is far stronger than maxing Q, because the extra AS lets you shred the solo camps in seconds (and solo drag and rift herald too), while also making your ganks stronger since the steroids will easily overpower low level champs with only your base stats. Since he has no built in AoE, I straight up avoid the chickens until I get Cinderhulk or Tiamat for the clear, they just aren't worth the time and health it seems. The other important thing is to get tier two boots early, (like right after cinderhulk) since the steroid from W will become that much stronger.

Item-wise, tankiness and movement speed are your two best friends, with anything to help with AoE as a close third.

From a still kinda Warwick main I have to agree!

Veigar for life, dude. (Maybe.)

I've been having a ton of fun on the new Warwick, and I feel like the low win rate is just because people are figuring out what to max and how to play him on the map.

I think he's still great as a beginner friendly jungler, since it's nearly impossible to die as him unless you get greedy early. His passive's healing is very strong when low, and if you proc the triple strength heal with Q it often fills up about a quarter to one third of my health early game. He's not as good as a duelist anymore since his real damage is tied to his enemies being low, but the extra tankiness, CC, and mobility make up for it. He feels familiar, but a lot more fun and noticeably less annoying to play as and against.

Stop spamming. Just stay at 50% health or lower while farming. WW always used a lot of mana.

He can sustain himself with just autos, there's no need to use abilities 24/7. Use Q right before the camp dies to get that little bit of extra health back.

so last hit with q?
