Support Oppression

The only reason I started to lose love for support is because the game has changed into a very oppresive nature. Warding is great for being aware of the other lanes, but with champions like zyra and brand taking over It doesn't matter if I play passively if my laner gets destroyed.

You can try roaming to gain some sort of advantage for your laner, but if you can't out range them or out damage/sustain against them in a trade it destroys not only the support meta, but the adc meta as well.

If they both got nerfs I'm sure it would be a much more popular role for other players, but as much people hate yasuo that's how I feel of both of them.

Yes you can pick champions for countering like karma, or lux, but the lane itself becomes very dull and somewhat helpless. #bring back solwolf

Zyra take Soraka ( Sona is technically her counter too) if she has summoner 14 take summoner 7 (bronze to say but helps a ton) take TahmKench cause you know he can't hurt your ADC if you eat them :D Annie Well this one is apparent item 3140 item 3222 Done her burst becomes irrelevant if you get those ("You have no power here" scenario in laning.) And a huge secret I'mma let you in on. Your ADC should also go to dodge school to help this issue :D

I don't have trouble with zyra, Long time kennen support main. It's mostly the problem of brand, tahm can eat his adc and his health shield he gains is great, not as good as galio, or morgana's but I feel like tahm's ultimate is his only play making use which may not be enough. Never had trouble with annie as her game pattern is the same her point and click is no where near as annoying as brand and zoning. Taking heal as support I could never enjoy, as the amount exhaust offers far exceeds it. Even smite I think is better since u can smite jungle and get the same amount of health back which is on a much lower cooldown.

Yes but no on the whole Kench thing. he's mostly good at being annoying in lane and being distracting, his plays are normally involving combos which not a ton of people learn, but yes his TP is the most apparent one. There's always multiple plays to make on any champion.
