How sure are we that we're playing with/ against actual players?

I know most are versed with vs bots/ai or botted sold accounts, but I recently came across some news articles explaining of other mobas and battle royales using learning bots to boost player counts for matches. With the amount of data that gets collected from our in game plays and the changes to ai bots recently. (ai darius actually flash ignite ulted me o.0) I'm curious if their actually already implemented into the game. That player that never speaks or might have pre determined messages based on what is said. ty = yw end of game = gg It sounds really weird, but I don't think it's impossible. We've had scripters in the game for a long time. These would be riot approved.

If your draven or riven is not flamming their team they're probably bots.

If your yasuo is not feeding, same.

We knew from when Skynet was put online this would happen. Nobody listened, and now every game is filled with AI. Hail Skynet.

It comes down to what queue you are playing. If you are in ranked anywhere outside of iron, it is safe to say you are playing against actual players. If you are playing aram on a pre-30 account, it is pretty safe to say at least one and most likely a majority of the players in your game are bots. Normals and tft are a bit trickier since no one knows exactly where the bots from 3v3 migrated to once twisted treeline was taken down.

Bot's only work like this in Fortnite because Fortnite is a free for all. The bots in their games purpose is to give you a sense of fulfillment/success when you kill them, and encourage you to continue playing, since no one likes being the first to die in a Battle Royale. It's a little disheartening. This wouldn't work in League simply because there's no benefit in doing so, where Fortnite, no one is harmed because of there being a bot.

Sure, you can give one team a sense of fulfillment by having them squash another team who was unlucky enough to have the bots, but you'd have the enemy team getting the negative feeling due to having said bots on their team. Well you may have encouraged one or two players to keep playing, you might've dissuaded 3 others from starting another game. Bots exist in Fortnite to give the players a good, albeit fake, feeling of achievement so while it's a lie, they don't harm the unknowning players fun. Having bots on any team is going to impact the game negatively and positively, for the same results as just having poor matchmaking.

Frankly it's just a waste of resources to bot when you could just have poor matchmaking, but whether or not matchmaking is actually poor, that's another rabbit hole/

I think, what the OP is posting, is totally honest, and can totally be true.

I've had games, where I kind of doubted whether the "Player" was actually a person/human, or a Bot. And Im not talking about him/her being good/bad as of skill, but about the way he/she moved, and so on.
