Triumph is better than Fleet Footwork

It feels like most games Triumph ends up healing me more than FF while also giving me gold, not to mention that Ravenous Hunter easily outheals FF as well.

Looking at the other options in the precision tree, its kind of hard to choose FF over :

PTA- 12% bonus damage from all sources and proc damage, this literally negates item 3047

Lethal Tempo- 110% bonus AS that can even break the AS limit, this can literally shred whole teams on Twitch Vayne KogMaw Varus when timed right

Conqueror- mostly used by melees and needs no introduction but still, bonus AD plus giving you true damage, that's a strong rune

And what does FF give you, 3-60 +0.3 bonus AD that is only 20% as effective on minions + 20% ms

Now that MS synergizes well on Jhin and will sometimes get you out of a tight spot but comparing it to other runes it's obviously not nearly as good, especially because its the only real defensive keystone that ADCs can pick, and its weaker than a regular rune.

Now this also brings me to my next point, it feels bad playing a crit carry compared to someone like Lucian cause the latter rushes item 3153 , now don't get me wrong, i mostly play Vayne and Lucian and i love item 3153 , it gives you sustain in lane, sustain in a team fight, helps you win 1v1s, 2v2s etc. it's just an overall increase to your surviveability.

But the problem is that champs that build item 3153 are free to take a damage rune while also outsustaining someone with FF

A crit carry with Fleet Footwork early game can neither sustain nor deal damage as someone with item 3153

I feel like the rune needs a straight up buff or a rework, maybe remove overheal as a standalone rune and slap it on FF or something, what are your thoughts?

Sure. A change would be nice. All the other keystones seem more appealing.

I don't know the intended design, but it seems like FF overall just doesn't outperform other keystones over the course of a game.

The keystone itself is strange. The keystone is placed in the Precision tree, which is usually picked up by AD scaling champions as their primary tree, but Fleet Footwork scales off of AP much better than AD. Which makes this keystone slightly better on certain champions who can start with an AP item (think Kassadin, Kai'Sa, Jhin, etc.) simply for the early sustain.

** A FREE rune should NEVER out sustain a 3,200 gold item. **

While I agree Fleet Footwork is trash, that's nothing to do with Blade of the Ruined King.

The rune has received nothing but nerf after nerf for the entire season.

V8.23 AP ratio reduced to 30% AP from 50% AP.

V8.11 Bonus movement speed reduced to 20% from 30%. REMOVED: Healing being increased by 40% of your critical damage modifier when triggered by a critical strike. REMOVED: Healing being 60% effective against minions. Ranged healing against minions reduced to 20% from 30%. Heal AP ratio increased to 50% AP from 40% AP.

V8.5 NEW EFFECT: Healing is now only 30% effective with ranged attacks against minions. BUG FIX: Total healing listed in the Runes panel now only increases when it actually heals you.
