so many times i've died as I was in the middle of Remounting skarl, if your going to take away 2 skills from me, take 20% damage from me and make me walk at a snails pace as well as lock me in place when skarl comes back, i better damn well have a reliable way of getting my passive back.

its earned considering that your duelings with half your health and mobility while having 2 of your abilities gone and your main lock down damaging skill replaced with a shitty escape tool that doesn't do its job well considering his mobility is so very low they can easily catch up? oh and yeah, you are doing 80% of your damage as kled only, not 100%. tell me how i'm NOT paying up for it.
Sir Fuzzi1 votesBecause it's upwards 60% of your health flying back at once, regaining your mobility and hard CC, after they spent the time (presumably) focusing Skaarl away.
The reward for Kled is you keeping Skaarl by moving through the fight at key points with Jousting, and even if you lose him you get untargetable(right?) frames for a bit.
Being able to snag a last-minute kill on Kled is a reward for players committing to a focus on him, and doing it well-- or punishment for Kled for being so far out from help.
