Why am I still losing games because someone decided they wanted to try a new champion for the first time and went 0-7-1?

This is the competitive game mode. Competitive behavior needs to be enforced. Picking a new champion for the first time is not competitive behavior.

Odds are higher that players on the other side. This not being gated works in your favor in the long run. Quick maths!
