Like a juggernaut.

Technically speaking, they put Skirmishers (mainly your melee ADC's) as a sub category of Slayer. Where the Slayer category includes Assassins.
I think they put Skirmishers with Assassins as they are mostly glass cannons, While both Divers and Juggernauts are more of a mix of damage and defense.

Skirmishers is like 
, the low range duelists who are fairly squishy. They often have high mobility. I think Lucian and Vayne might be in there, but not sure.
Slayer is more

If he has around 30% damage reduction with AP items you bet your ass he's a tank.

True, he's not going to be Tank levels of Tanky. But he's by no means a Glass cannon. And he has way too much mobility and lockup to be considered a Juggernaut.
So the best descriptor would probably be, an AP Diver.
