Season begins in a few days, and there's still a LOT wrong with the game
Seriously?
Seriously?
At the start of pre-season: "Yeah, the game is broken right now. But Riot has lots of time and will fix it." At the middle of pre-season: "Riot here - new season starts late at mid-January, so we have lots of time and will fix it." At the end of pre-season: Runes overtuned and imbalanced, base stats undertuned, towers useless, snowball is still real
gg
Sorry, we can't change it. Competitive play is about to start.
Sorry, we can't change it, some irrelevant tournament is about to start.
Sorry, we can't change it, MSI is coming.
Sorry, we can't change it, Worlds is coming.
Sorry, we can't change is, preseason is coming.
I agree with this well thought out thread.
who the hell cares?
this game was always wrong balance wise and never fixed as Qtpie said reguarding 8.1 "i can't believe they didn't nerf anything problematic in this patch but then again i say that in every single patch"
i never remember of a patch being so glorious and fixing the game massively
this season will be a mess, just like any season, and it won't prevent me from getting master like any seasons
This season feels like complete shit to play compared to every other. That's the difference.
That's less to do with burst than it is with more champions being played. Let's face it if the new runes done anything, they made more champions viable. Small things like mana in first 10 minutes has seen all sorts of old picks returning to (somewhat) popularity like zilean mid, Anivia mid, zyra mid....... basically mages that were given the YOU ARE NOW A SUPPORT treatment.
Not saying they were no viable, but they are now more viable.
who the hell cares?
Bruiser mains
People play bruisers?
Aren't all the best top lane champions bruisers though? Nasus is really good and really popular for instance, and so is Illaoi. Yes, Juggernauts is a subclass of Fighters/Bruisers.
yes we try and lose despite our many efforts but we will try
Just because its always shit doesnt mean that we cant advocate for it to be better?
There's certainly a lot wrong with the game right now, but the #1 thing that needs addressed is simply the overall level of damage relative to health. The amount of nearly 1 button kills, towers dives, and generally anti-skill components need to be reigned in. The whole concept of a sustained fight mechanics and adjusting/adapting during a fight seems to have completely gone out the window in favor of whoever strikes first winning.
The game urgently needs:
Nerfs on champion damage across the board (to slow down the pace of the game) Objective health and resistance buffs (no one should be able to solo Rift/Baron/Dragon) May need additional nerfs on lethality and crit in exchange for better lifesteal (less insta-kills and more sustained, reasonable dps to allow for more dynamic changes in teamfight positioning) Remove gold income aspect of support items. This will kill incentive to play second burst mages in the bot lane and bring value back to tank supports whom have been underwhelming (with the exception of
and
). Basically, a step back to season 3 where the role is arguably seen in a much more favorable spot. Maybe increase bounty. It would make comebacks a bit more encouraging to play for.
Well said! (I'd add Blitz to your Leona/Alistar list though :P)
So because they are the only 2typical support that have engages.....thresh needs to land his q, taric has no engage , blitz is like thresh , braum is like taric but little more viable on the engages ......this is your complaint. There is a reason I was going j4 supp on my main account it's like leo but different. Naut is the other popular one, why is it you think that one guy played reksai supp ....stuff works because of the cs ignoring engage
Everyone right now for new season: Got to play tanks and Vayne. Ez.
No game is balanced.
WoW isn't balanced. Overwatch isn't balanced. SMITE probably has it's OP's and UP's Paragon probably has it's OP's and UP's
