How about immediately forcing dc player to return to base upon dc?

EDIT: For clarification, I don't mean xayah/rakan-level instant recall into base, just having your champion make the walk back to base.

Maybe grant bonus flat armor/MR until they reconnect, rather than just sit there for 20 seconds before finally registering the fact a signal is lost. It makes little sense how you can dc for .5 seconds, and sit there in a loop of "attempting to reconnect" for 4 minutes when it's usually faster to just kill the client and reconnect manually.

Quite frankly, the new client performs like crap, and has all of the same bugs and issues as the old one, but with better visuals. Quite a lot of hyped up talk for something that's been out for what, almost 2 years? Any other game resolves connection issues in a fraction of the time; so what's up?

Have you played any Blizzard game? Now THOSE are some terrible reconnect systems. Hearthstone might as well not have a reconnect system cause it never works, Heroes forces you to sit there as the entire game is replayed and that can take 10+ minutes sometimes (although half the time it doesn't work), and Overwatch gives you a 50 SR loss and a 10 minute competitive ban even if you were to rejoin 10 seconds later (and also doesn't work half the time).

League's system could obviously be better, but it's far from the worst out there. Champions do gain crazy amounts of MR and AR once they reach the fountain, enough to make them invincible. I'd guess they don't gain it immediately because then you could just unplug your internet as soon as you're about to die, making you invincible. Even if you gained only 200 AR and MR it could be advantageous to DC intentionally to survive for that extra second so your team could save you. Either way, I doubt Riot wants intentionally DCing to be a legit strategy.

On a side note, now I'm kinda curios if Trundle's ult works with the DC buffs.

That could get highly abused. If you see a three dive looming or if you have escaped but are deep in enemy territory, then instead of having to outplay, all you have to do is dc...that's busted

Because the way you could game the system.

About to die in a 5v2 gank? Just quickly disconnect and instantly TP back to base with 500 armor/MR. The other way you could look at it is spotty connections where you're dipping back and forth between running to base and laning.

As for the "actual" disconnect? I agree that it could be faster. It's annoying having to sit there and pray for a reconnect only to wait another few seconsd to get out of the game and reconnect.

So if someone has an old pc he is fcked because the pc might not be able to respond within 0.5 seconds due to overload. So you fuck him in the ass completely clossing his client giving even more work to the cpu AND forcing him to recconect.

because if you could insta return to base all people would have to do if force close the client and its like they juked the enemy team

also gained free stats while your auto pathed backed to base would be stupid.

to much room for abuse.

But then can't just just ALT+F4 when you are going to lose a fight, and walk away while being even tankier?
