Toxic champions

Hello guys, I started playing about 1 month ago and I am having a blast with the game. I am not new to the genre and my friends are helping me a lot so I am learning fast. I have 1 problem though. In about 90% of the game there is somebody playing Yasuo or Riven. Now I do not understand why these champions exist, there is just nothing you can do against them. Its so unfun and boring. They have no mana or energy and can dash for days, I cant land a single skill on them. Yasuo is even worse, that windwall is totally unfair as it destroys most of skills and his ulti I hear kills armor so I cant go tank neither. How do you play vs those champions, when I am melee I cant even farm, when I am ranged maybe I can manage but then they 1 shot me after few items. Other players who are actually beginers seem to have problems too, as they always feed them 10 kills. I was having so much fun untill i started getting enemies who play thos champions without mana and a lot of dashes and they really ruined my experience.

TLDR - I am a new player and I love the game, untill i started playing versus high mobility manaless champions (Yasuo, Riven, Tryndamere etc.) they are really unfun and toxic, as are most of their players, and all my friends who are beginers have same experience. Maybe change something like give them mana maybe ?

Even a casual observer has it figured out.

Tryn toxic... How?

He always pushes 1 lane and it almost always wins the game since you can never kill him, he can go over walls and has like million years of not dying and then when you think ignite will kill him, he heals himself. If he gets fed and goes into fights, same thing, goes in and kills adc and others, he just has to press r and never die. If he was a bit harder maybe it would feel fair to play vs him. Only good thing is that his lane sucks, but again he can heal forever because no mana.

What u mean there is nothing u can do against them? Armor counters all of them. Riven and Yasuo are fun to play with and against as playing against them is based on skill difference between u and him. They have huge outplay potential and its fun to outplay them. Anyway, try Trundle and build tank. They wont be able to do anything against u.

For example your Jax game vs Trynda, if u got Ninja Tabi boots item 3047 u would reduce his damage alot as he is auto attack reliant.

I wasnt vs Trynd, I was vs Yasuo. How is it fun to play or even possible to outplay champion that has infinite dashes, can always throw q, it almost has 0 cooldown like his dash, a wall that blocks every single thing in the game and ulti that destroys your armor (same one you suggested buying). Ok his ulti cant be thrown randomly, but the stupid think is he can dash to me and hot q from 1 meter and cant miss. When I played Sion it was even worse. My e is blocked by wall, he dashes around so I can never hit q or ulti and then he ultis me and 1 shots even though i bought nothing but armor. That is just unfun, and most of my friends agree that it sucks hard. Maybe its fun for you to wreck people without them being able to strike back, its not fun for rest of us.

Half way through the video he explains counterplay tips. You can even skip to it.

Yasuo doesnt have "infinite dashes" he can dash on minions and each minion only once. His wall doesnt block everything. It only blocks projectiles and has huge CD. His ulti gives him buff to pierce 50% of BONUS ARMOR. Meaning armor is still effective against him. What was your build when you played Sion? And did you try to splitpush or u tried to fight him? Also u gotta rush Sunfire Cape if u are top vs him, AOE from it pops his shield and screws him alot. His wall has bigger CD than any of your abilities. And you have better teleport potential. I personally love playing Trundle into Yasuo. Or Pantheon, god... he cant do anything. Or Wukong. One Yasuo wished me every disease in world when i played Wukong into him. He couldnt do anything. Yasuo is actually considered one of weaker champions atm. Especially since Trinity force changes, he is gutted like Riven.

I just read the description of Yasuo skills. So his dash has cooldown on same minion 10-6 seconds. Problem is there arent 2 minions in lane, there are usually 5-10. I really dont think Yasuo would just mindlessly spam his e and waste it 10 times in 6 seconds, so by that logic he does actually have infinite ammount of dashes, also he can dash to champions which is dumb since then he cant miss his q, then ulti, then instant death. Also you say bonus armor - you mean the armor i buy from items? Because I have around 30 armor without any items with those rune thingies I was told to buy after lvl 20, but every armor item gives like 50-100 armor. If I get all armor items, that armor that isnt bonus is barely like 10% of my total armor and 90% is bonus. So that doesnt seem important.
Look I am not saying its impossible to beat Yasuo, I managed it few times (mostly because Yasuo was bad), but it is the most unfun and frustrating experience in the game so far. I havent nearly tried all champions, I am sure there is something in the game that beats the crap out of him, but as a new player I say its a bad experience overall (serously why are some champs limited by mana while others run rampant all game without a care in the world, who thought it would be a good idea?).

Thats why u should utilize minions to your advantage. Choose your terrain to fight, dont let him choose. I personally love playing against Yasuo as its so easy to beat with most champions. He is squishy melee ADC. He penetrated 50% of bonus armor. Not all of it. And its not permanent. Its only after he ultis, and in most cases when Yasuo ultis, he dies. Yasuo used to be strong. But now, meh. Just walking 300 gold for most, especially in meta dominated by tanks.

Dont know man, I died to him as full monster tank Sion in around 3-4 seconds. I dont really think that tanks are dominating, I mean they do seem to do a lot of dmg with 0 damage items, but still if somebody has lifesteal, you die in a couple of seconds. Maybe its just hard to play with so many total newbies to moba genre who cant understand what to do and I have to do it all by myself sometimes... Still - u n f u n.

Nautilus, Maokai, Sion, Malphite, Poppy, Gnar, Tahm Kench, Braum, and Leona. These are my best recommendations for dealing with Yasuo, Riven, and Tryndamere.

It's not about absorbing damage from these armor shredding monsters, it's about locking them down with oppressive amounts of CC. Harass them in lane and when they engage on you, hit them with your CC and walk away or kill them outright for a rather sloppy engage. If you can beat or match them in CS during the laning phase, you'll have an extreme advantage in team fights. A stunned Riven/Yasuo/Tryndamere is deleted instantly if your team is able to focus fire that target.

The hard part has more to do with the fact that most people who play these champions have played EXCLUSIVELY these champions and THIS puts new players at a disadvantage. Let's compare someone who plays only 5 champions to someone who plays only Riven. Assuming it takes 10 games to learn a champion, 25 games to master it, and 100 games to know the best way to win every match-up.

  1. Assume you're a new player and you've only played about 10 games on 2 of your main champions and 5 games on the other 3. On the other hand, the Riven main you're playing against has played 35 games on Riven. The Riven has a mastery of her champion while you have only just learned or are still learning yours.

  2. Assume you're a reasonably new player and you've only played about 30 games on all 5 of your main champions. On the other hand, the Riven main you're playing against has played 150 games on Riven. Both of you have mastered the champion you're playing, but the Riven has a much better understanding of this match-up.

  3. Now let's assume you're a fairly experienced player and you've played more than 100 games on your 5 main champions. The Riven main has played an astonishing 500+ games on Riven, but it has only made her marginally better than you with any of the champions you field against her. If one of those champions you've fielded against her has a better match-up, her Riven expertise is worthless.

I repeat, it's not about absorbing damage from these armor shredding monsters, it's about locking them down with oppressive amounts of CC. There is no true carry that can withstand excessive crowd control. 95% of the time that some Riven gets ahead is because there wasn't CC to deal with her or she attacked when the enemy team wasted their CC.

But I only saw a couple of CC abilites who arent skillshots or something like pin to wall for stun abilites. That is the problem. I dont have problem playing Sion vs somebody who dashes a lot, my problem with those champions is that they are manaless so they can dash forever, my main problem starts in lane where I cant do anything vs "move around fast and poke a little bit" champs, that way they chunk at your hp untill you either die or go to base and they get ahead either way. Once ahead, they never seem to stop and slaughter your entire team unless you focus them extremely hard, but guess what? They have 4 other people in their team to either help them escape, or just kill you after you wasted 5 ultimates on 1 champion just because of that champion design. That is dumb honestly.
