Is it really that hard to go even in lane in silver?

I always thought silver as a bunch kids tickling each other. But 4.... YES 4... games in a row my team has lost every lane in 1v1. And not like... lose... but get stomped. I just don't get how that's possible? Only game we had a winning lane was when I was mid. Of course game keeps giving me jungle now so can't even keep it as secondary. Guess I should have read up on jungle changes cuz w/e I did last season doesn't work anymore. Thinking teammates will be competent to not constantly in lane alone or to very obvious pinged out ganks is too much to ask apparently.

I was Diamond 3 a couple months ago, and trust me it never gets all too much better. People don't go 0/5 anymore, but since games are decided on much smaller leads(because players know how to snowball), 0/2 is basically the same thing as 0/5. The difference is that you don't get to play against shitty silvers who will basically hand you their leads if you ask them. Enjoy silver elo while you can fam.

I'm just gold, so I won't speak like an elitist

But I've seen silvers who can go even in losing match ups as point as they are not tilted.

But in my experience most silvers can stay even in lane for a certain amount of time. Usually by lvl 6, the lane will have a clear winner. From that point, if another player doesn't intervene it devolved into a feeding or heavily losing lane

This, plus they often don't set up properly for another player to intervene. Dont communicate which bushes are warded, don't set up tp wards, etc. Its normally a self-fulfilling prophecy: "Im losing because my team wont help, but I wont do anything to make it easier for my team to help me."

Silver is the league that has the highest skill disparity. If you're on a win streak, match making will give you a disadvantage in team members. The current game is small advantage leads to snowball. People give up too easy.

Pick any or all of the above options.

Do you mean to ask how does a bracket of relatively ok ish mechanical skill, but probably bad meta understanding lose lane super hard when they fall behind because they likely don't know how to play safe? It's a quandry.

That's the thing I hate though. Like.... I get that... I have played forever so although I am no mechanical god or great at any role but I have enough experience to play every role at around at least gold 5 level. So in any game I can jump in and not be outclassed. But because "rank resets" along with placements I get the now fun to rerank through silver. Which don't get me wrong... can be fun. But when it's your main account and you just want to rank up quick it gets frustrating watching all lanes get stomped because all the game sees is "1200 mmr" or w/e. So it just assumes everyone with the same rank or mmr is the same... but in reality a lot of us have played for years and a lot of have not. You take OTP and throw them into a game where they lose or don't get their champ or something they feed hard. Meanwhile I can go even all day because I know how to play passive if I have to. It just gets so annoying watching some players not even know the basics to the game while others (although not great obviously) know the basics and therefore stomp the shit out of these others players. But then in the game it just keeps saying "well you still same rank". Eventually at the end of the season and after hundred of games it kind of works out.... but its such a slow annoying process.
