Question about Evelynn MR shred

I am wondering how Evelynn her MR shred mechanic works.

For instance, when she reaches her highest level she shreds 35% MR on her charm. Now if you combine this with , does that mean she shreds 75% or is the mechanic more like MR - 40% - 35%?

And what about normal penetration? What is the correct formula and where does shredding stand? My guess is that the following applies:

MR = (Base MR + Passive MR + LEVEL MR + Item MR + Skill MR) - Flat Pen - Shredding Pen - %MR Pen. Meaning 100 MR will be 68 from flat pen from + and then reduced by 35% maing it 44.2 - 40% from voidstaff making it 26.52 MR remaining. Now if you don't take any flat pen items the result will be 100 - 35% - 65% - 40% = 39% If the calculations are totally different everything changes. It seems flat pen items are pretty useless on Evelynn or am I absolutely wrong here?

The %MR shred should be multiplicative (not additive) with Voidstaff - flat MR reduction should then be applied afterwards. More information here:

Yes I have seen this article several times, but where in the spectrum does shredding apply? Is it considered reduction?

Yes it is. The only difference is that shredding applies for other champions as well: If the target's MR is shred, the %reduction is applied to Eve and their allies' magic damage while the %reduction from void staff only applies to those who bought that item.

With item 3020 + item 3165 and void staff and Evelynn the target would only have: 100 x 0.65 x 0.6 - 33 = 6 i.e. the target would take damage as if having 6 magic armor.
