Since mundo is getting a major rework in the tank patch apparently.

IMO mundo's whole theme is dipping into HP several times (Offense, Sustain, Defense), Q entirely, and his AoE type skill.

Aside from that everything else is easy to make better.

(To break down his stat dipping is: Passive is just sustain based on hp, E is damage based on HP, and ulti is just survivability based on hp, along with Hp being defense alone as a stat)

While the speed up wouldn't really mind if it was traded for some mobility increase, like maybe hulk's leap since he was inspired by it.(Not the pantheon type one they were planning in the past, just something like a lower range more use "zac leap")


Speaking of hulk, I know this might be/is dumb, but what is they tried giving him something similar to worldbreaker hulk.....

I would envision:

Passive light HP sustain, under some condition it increases, dramatically increases more under ulti condition

Q-remain untouched, maybe the grievous wound effect that was being tested earlier while under the ulti condition. Maybe the toss damage is lowered but marks an enemy for mundo to hit for full effect?

W- Retain it being an AoE skill and costing HP(Those 2 things are the main thing I care about from it), additionally it EITHER increases damage based on HP as a scaling OR lower hp you have the more damage it does, I have no idea what effect during ulti condition.

E-new skill(sorry AD mundo....) (The hp->damage is moved to w as a ratio or just damage increase the lower hp mundo has instead of AD) "Hulk Leap" maybe with reset conditions during ulti condition. But if there's no plan of giving him a mobility tool keep his MS increases please.

R-Going to put a "stupid/dumb" idea here: Mundo turns "WorldBreaker"(Obvious name change to prevent any claim issues) modifies his passive and base abilities. While during worldbreaker he can also recast it again for some form of skill pref a CC effect..... I personally wouldn't mind this "Worldbreaker" effect to give defensive stats but it has to be lightly, but I'd fully be against offensive stats.


Overall in the rework I just pray that mundo retains Q entirely, has an Aoe damage skill(Like W) that costs HP and retain his multi-dipping into HP for offense, sustain, and defense. If the MS increase is removed given a mobility tool. Lastly since mundo is going to be in the tank patch CC somewhere, maybe in ulti or E.

It doesn't have to go along with what I said for the rework idea but making his passive be his source of sustain, moving his HP->Damage from E to W to make room for a new E thus his ulti can be completely changed too.

Not saying everyone thinks like me or be happy with such a change but I feel like something in that direction would be pretty cool.

And as someone told me to do years ago, I could see myself playing against it and having fun using it.

Would be weary over the passive's increased sustain condition, Dodge Q, try to get him to use W without anything gained, Attempt to dodge the new E, and beware ulti.

Sorry if it's all over the place, not trying to say what mundo "should be", just an example what of his kit/theme "should stay" without difficulty doing so. And again that rework idea is just something I could see for a direction, but as long as mundo retains the main things I feel mundo players care about. (Sorry again AD mundo....)

"Mundo will go where he pleases!" I think "stupid/dumb" idea is best idea for Dr Mundo because Dr Mundo is bit stupid ^^

I would love his Q to do a bit less damage or cost a bit more health (maybe 100-150 ranks 3-5, and refunding 50 if he hits).

It's incredibly annoying for a Mundo to throw out 20 health cleavers that do 200+ damage.

Or just remove the minimum damage, it really shouldn't be there. 270 or so is pretty insane for a permaslow low cd poke 25%currenthp scaling ability, which heals you if it hits (with Runic Armor being a thing, and also once he gets Visage).
