Lane Fiddlesticks Is Better Than Jungle Fiddlesticks

The increase in range of his Q and the fact that his clear speed was not buffed a ton in the latest patch has made me realize that Fiddlesticks is a better Mid/Support than a Jungle in the current meta. His QEW combo can chunk people since the crow will bounce to the W target every other bounce and his lane sustain simply by draining a minion is immense, which allows him to counter Assassins who seek to get you low enough for burst. Not only this, but one of his core items is Zhonya's, further allowing him to counter Assassins. All in all, Fiddlesticks is a better Lane champion than a Jungler right now.

With the new JGL Fiddle has basicly become a troll pick. Especially when looking at the amount of unnecessary nerfs he got. He's not really viable in Lane either - but at least you can get to 6 in a reasonable time. Last time I played him I also took him to mid just because of that. But especially the nerf on E which no longer allows you to re-apply the Silence (WHICH IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE) feels terrible on lane.

But hey - you have decent Waveclear due to E max - you can solve your mana Issues by an early chapter and you dont have to gimp your selfe with the JGL Items that basicly state: Don't play Fiddle.

Yeah, this sounds pretty awful. His ultimate is worthless in lane too.

Yeah, but before he was weak in both positions. The Fear range buff helped Lane Fiddle a lot, so now he is a decent lane champion.

He's been statistically strong in laning positions for the last 3~ish patches.

I just played middledicks for the first time last night and oh my god it was hilarious. this jayce tried to all in me at level 3 and lost, then tried to tower dive me and lost again, it was quite a time

that's what I was saying, I had almost no health but as soon as he went in I E-Q-W'd him and sustained just enough to kill him

then the first thing he says after that is "wow that healing" like that's not what fiddle is known for lmao

that's like when people try to dive me when I play malzahar...like why lmao

Not really supprising imo, his junge has been worse than his laneing because of jungle changes, and all the buffs he recived since then are just as usefull for his lane as they are for the jungle, so the difference between lane and jungle fiddle stayed the same since the jungle changes.
