"I main Viktor because I love setting up plays with my ult and stun!" - Viktor main
No, you main him because he is freelo and can instakill anyone, using 2 basic abilities.

I remember when people used to scoff at people who played Viktor. He's one of the hardest mages in the game. Bout time he gets some rewards for his hard work.

click ult 100-0 the enemy support
"hard work"
lol
Actually, his ult is the second hardest to land imo right after Leona's since it slows down the farther he is away.
His laser is also fairly easy to dodge, but his Q's next basic attack is a bit much.

Leona's ult is hard to land?
LOL
Yeah, it is. It's officially* ranked as the number 1 hardest ult to land in the game.
?
Not even.
I would love to see your source for that because I don't believe that one bit
If saying "imo" flies over your head I can give you the link in which my judgement was influenced by.
"Yeah, it is. It's officially ranked as the number 1 hardest ult to land in the game"
the fuck you talking about bruh, that is literally what you said. source?
Wow, I sound retarded saying this, but I can't find the listI originally used. The rest of them are either outdated or are full of trolls.
Putting more thought into this, I'd probably have to admit I was wrong. Xerath's ult is arguably the hardest to land unless we are judging Leona by only her stun.

Sion ult bruh. If your enemy has any brain at all.
Nothing better than the satisfaction felt when you sidestep a Sion ult on Shaco.

This motherfucker's difficulty is allowed to be judged...
But Graves can't have a cigar?
Had a 1st time Viktor carry my team 2 games ago, both in kills and in setting up teamfights.
He definitely requires some finesse, but he isn't like
where you're going to feed multiple games before you even learn how to play them properly.

You shouldn't feed playing yasuo and zed for the first time... You just can't have an ego and you'll do fine. Azir is pretty fucking hard tho, you'll feed for a bit lmao.
Welcome back to spin the whell of champs, all you have to do is spin the wheel, pick a champ, and then complain about how op they are, without using reason or how they need skill!
For the record, Viktor is very strong. I had 100% win rate with Viktor in ~5 games when I climb out of Bronze 1. One of his key strengths is that he is simply good against assassins despite being a mage. He can trade evenly with champions such as Zed or Fizz, and he can 100-0 them faster than they can 100 - 0 him because he can cast Q, AA, E, ult, simultaneously late game.
If you want to beat Viktor, play mages with even more burst or even higher range. You can't assassinate him because he will just W on the spot. Pick Annie, Brand, or Xerath who can obliterate him whenever he gets close.
"Viktor is going to have his day. Pretty soon, some enterprising, innovating team is going to play Viktor prominently during some high-profile tournament. Viktor will get his vogue for about a month, and then everyone will whine about how he's OP. Or more likely, thousands of people will pick up Viktor, fail to play him properly, and the champion will return to obscurity." This is from a Viktor Main's guide on Viktor. From around 2012 or so. And as it turns out, he was right.
Half of his kit is very difficult to pull off. His W and E are the hard ones to land if your opponent is competent. His Q is there for guaranteed damage and shield.
He's overall strong but he's not fucking freelo.
Try
It's hard to lose lane with these even if you can't animation cancel with Riven.
