Any refunds for the people who "basically" got scammed by Riot during Clash?

I'm talking about the people who paid either Riot Points or Blue Essence for multiple tickets, only for the game mode to break on the first day. These tickets are un-refundable even though those players were unable to play due to mass client bugs.

~ First-day client bug prevents multiple teams to lock in properly (Addressed - and a later play time was set)

~ The second day had an Error bug whenever you tried subbing another player in... causing even more teams to drop.

Not really fun paying for something you don't receive...

Hey Resolution! Sorry you had a bad experience here.

a) We resolved the lock-in issues after the first flight of day 1 with a bugfix to our store. b) The "Unknown Error" for subbing another player was down to them being too high-tier for the player they were replacing; we've updated that tooltip already.

You should hit up Player Support with all that info and they should be able to help.

It still affects players; especially if they're saving for something specific.

Ask yourself how many people are going to go through the hassle? (Some players have had issues getting refunds already)

Riot burnt a lot of players out of money without even addressing it.

Is this Clash thing not going to be a regular weekend event?

The tickets they're using now were a placeholder; they're planning to use Premium tickets in its place later on. No guarantee the tickets from this weekend will be reusable since it's Beta.

Premium tickets? So you mean that, if any future tournaments are held, it will cost physical dollars from my wallet to participate? Is this feature designed for Riot to test out holding their own tournaments, or an improvement to the tournament system overall for players to use?

You can use Blue Essence in future events.

Sorry, I think a lot of people took that the wrong way. I meant the current tickets are placeholders for a new system later on (The premium tickets will be replacing the X5 Entry) and another will be replacing the basic ticket. I'm sure the basic ticket replacement will still be purchasable for Blue Essence.

That's what I meant by the current ticket system only being placeholders in Beta.
