Promos Should Always Give You Your Primary Role

Why does it seem like I'm forced into my Secondary role in every single Promo game I'm in?

Promos are designed to be your peak performance: you need to win 2/3 (or 3/5) games to move up in the rankings. You're expected to play your best.

Why, then, does the game handicap me with a role that is not my best?

The change coming is that you can't be autofilled while in a series. Not that you are guaranteed your primary.

I'm guessing that your secondary role is Support.

That happens to me ;-;

don't be trash in your secondary and you won't have a problem

that's what happens when you one trick

Half the players in the LCS are one tricks. That's why bans have yet to be increased from 3 to 5 per team, because "opponents could ban out a player's entire roster".

But anyway, I enjoy / am good at long-range AP carries. Mid and Support are pretty much the only things viable for me, and putting down Support as a secondary means you're getting Support. Meanwhile, if I put down Top, I'm expected to either play an AD Bruiser or a tank. And I'm not good at either.
