it should be possible to slightly reduce his base damage and put a total ad ratio onto his q and e. with his base ad it should equalize and not affect his ap builds, but it would leave the option of weaving one or two ad juggernaut items into his builds.

because he had hybrid scalings before his rework? his q and his e had ad and ap ratios.
adding a total ad ratio into his kit wouldnt harm his ap builds, so why the fuck not?

Morde was in a MISERABLE state pre-rework, barely being viable, and the AD scalings were only there as either carryovers from a previous era or to give him something to keep him above water.

i played garen practically since the champions release. he never ever at any point had an ap scaling in his kit.
they were thinking of adding it back to yi too.

what do you mean they dont have decent itemization?
mordes core itemization works very well for him. 
but he basically has to build these items every single game. it would be nice to complement them with some of the ad bruiser items too.
