It's taken 33 games for me to climb from Silver V to Silver 2 100LP

Despite me maintaining a 79% winrate across the last 33 games. I don't think that's fair for me, as 33 games is a LOT of time invested to climb, and the worst thing about is that I'm clearly not anywhere close to my true elo. And it's most definitely not fair for the people I'm getting matched against, for them to be getting matched against someone that blatantly riggs the game towards his own teams advantage from matchmaking forwards. I can only imagine the nightmare that people with lower winrates have to face after bad placements or during just general climbing. Maintaining this requires a lot of mental fortitude, perseverance and persistence, I have to be on the ball for all of my games, can't even tilt from a bad game, I have to put up with lot of bad behaviour and I also have to stay positive despite seeing glaringly obvious mistakes committed by my teammates to the point that it becomes painful to watch. Climbing is such a pain in the ass. Q_Q thread over.

33 games isn't a lot.

it realistically takes 300~500 games to accurately be placed on the ladder. unless you are a diamond+ smurf and can literally put the whole team on your back and snowball ridiculously out of control until you are put up against plat+ players.

its just the way the system works because there are bad teams, thrown games, poor team comps, premades, feeders, afks, trolls, etc.

in my opinion, its rare to get a GG yet those 2 letters are thrown around like hotcakes.

Either you are lying or you have bronze MMR. Pick one. 79% of 33 games means you won 26 of them. If you were 0 LP at Silver V and you are now Silver II at 100 LP, you have gained a total of 400 LP. If you won 26 games and lost 7, and you won 20 LP in all your games and lost 20 in all your games, you'd have 520 LP from wins minus 140 from loses. A total of 380 LP. Not even 400. That means you're losing more LP than you are winning, you're dodging a lot of games (which in turn would raise your average LP, but clearly not), or your MMR is so low that you're not as good as you think you are. All in all, stop being 'just another average League player' who thinks he's much better than he actually is. 33 games is not much to determine your skill, and Silver I is much harder than Silver II. Saying you're "nowhere close to your true Elo" is the average mindset of every Bronze/Silver/Gold, climbing requires you to put time in just like everything else in the world.

Or you could not play this game at all and do something useful with your life - if you're that worried about wasted time.

33 games is a solid amount of time played, but in the grand scheme of things, with a season being nearly an entire year, people can play upwards around 1-2k games in that timeframe if they're pumping out 5-10 games a day. People say it takes hundreds of games, but that's obviously not true for someone in your case. The higher the winrate, obviously the higher you will climb at a faster pace. You will probably reach where you belong in another 50 games because you WILL skip divisions in gold.
