Ive been in gold for about 3 days and im climbing faster than i was in sliver for over 3 months

Elo hell does in fact exist explain to me how i spend around 3 - 4 months dancing around sliver 5 - 4 and in a matter of 3 - 4 days in gold im about to hit gold 3 already. In gold my teammates feed time to time but they dont feed to point where its overwhelmingly effecting the game they can actually control themselves and not over tilt till the point it ruins the match.

In sliver i would have one teammate die and just quit or give up. Even in sliver when you won lane hard it meant nothing because on the other side of the map someone would feed twice as hard and the enemy would have twice the lead you do just from your teammates dying over and over. At this rate im going to hit plat 5 in perhaps a few days or so. It is SAD that the matchmaking system is soo bad that sliver will never reflect your true skill i was waiting to climb out to speak on this because if i didnt climb out by myself nobody would ever believe me i would have no proof behind my words. I hope Riot sees this and realizes just how bad low sliver MMR really is.

Needless to say if you want to climb you must focus on yourself , i had to educate my self by watching high elo coaching and keeping my champion pool small around the champions i could play well with. In sliver i would 100% validate that half the time blaming your team is a legitimate excuse as someone who climbed out of sliver. Just know anyone who is experiencing the hell of sliver i feel you guys. Some of you are indeed worthy of gold just keep trying.

Explain to me how you have been in silver for 4 months when the season started December 8th

Didn't Riot also reset everyone's placements after 2 weeks?

And I think solo que wasn't out for an additional week or so.

I believe, statistically speaking, about 50% of the community is below Silver 3 by the END of the season

And you also have to keep in mind that the highest anyone could place was Plat 1, which means even challengers were placing several divisions lower than they really are. This pushes everyone down even further.

I started in bronze 3 i think because last pre season i made it to sliver 3 or 2 so the placements had me in bronze, then i was in bronze for like 3 days i think maybe a few more.

I'm not saying that ELO hell isn't a thing,

But what you are saying is similar to saying that Walmart is always crowded because you had to wait hours in line to even get into the building on Black Friday.

Elo hell doesn't exist like everyone thinks. If the argument is that there are bad players in bronze-silver elo that drag you down then you can make the same argument for the enemy team. Yes there are more bad players and more toxic players in lower tiers, but they are as common on enemy teams as they are on yours. My guess? You're playing with more confidence now that you're gold instead of constantly being frustrated at dumb teammates in silver.

Spending already less than a fraction of the time i was in sliver i am 1100000% sure sliver is the true hell elo.

Not sure why this is downvoted when it's actually provided an accurate definition of elo hell. It takes a lot longer to climb when your teammates are really inconsistent in terms of skill.

It's like people see "elo hell" and just get triggered before they finish the post.

Because people do get triggered they just cant believe someone can be stuck due to teammates

Silver and bronze are full of players who give up if they aren't ahead at 20. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. They start to play worse and lose for it
