Maybe zephyr could be the answer the suffering devourer junglers

It was a very common used item by attack speed champs for the reasons

  • it scaled well for champs that took advantage of on hit effect heavily in their kits
  • also taken advantage of by champs that didn't typically really have any desire for crit chance in their build

And since riot didn't like the tenacity and movespeed (although not the most fair that only zeal champs aka adc gets to have that movespeed benefit); there could be changes made to make it something of an AD counterpart of nashor's tooth, with it's own effect geared to on hit champs.

  • increase the total cost to 3000
  • replace the pickaxe with vampiric scepter
  • replace the undesired unique effect with on hit heal for 10% of the damage dealt (something like gunblades omnivamp but only on-hit)

This should make it a healthy AD counterpart to nashor's. The total gold cost and the component gold cost will be perfectly equal with nashor's. The sustain will be the assist buffering the damage they will be taking (aqua dragon explained this concept well in hit grievous wounds post) while being compatible on the multiple champs whos on hit damage isn't in the form of physical damage. And as a little bonus there will finally again be more than one item that stinger builds into.

it would help a lot. but riot never responded to any "bring back zephyr" thread or paid attention to them. maybe they just don't want the item for whatever reasons

But that is the problem the reason that was given was really not the greatest, and one of the biggest reasons there was less complaint was likely because of the pre6.9 existence of rageblade. It would be nice to get a response on this point that is reasonable and logical in my opinion.

the thing is you could build the old trinity force and be fine. now you cant do that because it sucks. so does the new botrk. it sucks on melee. there is no point
