Why go against your playerbase when it clearly didn't work out? (Dynamic queue)

I dinged 30 not too long ago and never tried ranked, but I must say I don't want to try it with this system in play. I think it's an odd thing to force people to play with friends when a lot of people don't have anyone playing this game. I personally enjoy playing alone from time to time, so taking away this option seems uncalled for and selfish. I don't want to face premades 24/7 sucking away all my fun.

I think it's interesting to see Riot ignore the community. How and why is beyond my understanding, wouldn't it be in their best interest to reintroduce solo Q?

Is **Ghostcrawler ** the one making these calls? He infamously ruined WoW PvP. Not saying he did it all by himself, but the guy was in charge of his team and seemingly singlehandedly killed off what used to be an amazing PvP game (you might even say he killed the game with his ridiculous "prune everything-mentality" - stripped it for complexity, made everything faceroll and removed everything that even remotely resembled skill. This entire queue thing just seem like a massive déjà-vu.

I think not bringing solo queue back will have massive longterm consequences for Riot.

Just saying.

It worked out, and this is coming from a pure solo player. DQ is fine, you are not forced to play in a party, it is just heavily recommended. Also, how does someone on the balance team have any say on someone in the team that works on Queues?

Oh wow, a pure solo player that takes week breaks occasionally and hardly plays ranked likes dynamic queue. What a surprise :O hehe XD

Dynamic Queue normals is the same queue as Dynamic Queue ranked. Just different rewards. Also, keep in mind I share the same computer with my sister who has her own account and constantly plays with friends, and, I cannot stress this enough, there are more games than LoL out there that I like to play.

Well, some champs are stronger in solo q than dynamic q, so ultimately it affects balance. Seems like Riot took a shortcut. Seems like a fairly standard Ghostcrawler trademark to take shortcuts.

I guarantee you GC had nothing to do with this. Also, some champs are good in solo queue while trash in team queue. It was no different then, it's no different now.

I'm not sure bro. I'm positive he'd have a say in this matter. I can't imagine this guy having any positive impact on this game, rather the opposite. He's probably also responsible for the terrible mage updates.

Anyway, I don't think I will ever understand why Riot would force people to queue up with friends when a lot of people either prefer playing solo or don't have any friends. They removed a choice and gave something worse in return. Doesn't seem like good business.

Your tinfoil hat is burning about GC there. He is in a different team and I'm 100% he had no say in this. It doesn't matter what you think GC did, he is not part of the team and therefore did not develop the system.

Riot's game is more fun with friends. At least, that is the general opinion. However, that doesn't stop many people from playing solo, and it's not surprising. However, they are not forcing pre-mades. It is a heavily recommended option.

He doesn't necessarily need to be in the same team to make an impact. It's pure speculation, but wouldn't surprise me. That's all.

Well, Riot can tell themselves that they think the game is more fun with friends (I don't really agree and think that's a pretty subjective thing to say), so if they want to exclude a part of their playerbase - go ahead. The fact that they lied and now refuse to reimplement solo Q tells me something isn't right, that or they're blinded by their own ego.

Newsflash: if you just dinged 30, no one wants you to play Ranked any way. New level 30 players aren't ready for Ranked, and to be honest you'd cause more problems for your teammates than any premade you'd be put against.

Dynamic Queue is a scapegoat people are blaming for all of their problems. Look around and you'll see people blaming it for trolls, toxic players, teammates not communication, boosted players, players better than them, etc, all of which are problems that have existed for years.
