It's perfectly fine if you wanna last pick Yasuo top into our squishy All AD comp

Just keep in mind I "can play what I want", too. I'm not gonna intentionally feed, obviously, but I've heard that Katarina support is OP as fuck, and I'd love to try it out.

In all seriousness, this is a big part of why a lot of people hate being a support, because nowadays every fucking low elo player wants to pick a carry even if it isn't remotely appropriate for the comp. "fill" doesn't just mean support in Blind pick, it means "tank support". If you See a Zed mid, a Master Yi jungle, and a Soraka support, why the fuck are you picking Yasuo top?

This shit just reminds me of why I liked Team builder. When I saw some dumb shit like that comp I could dodge without penalty.

I've heard it described that the best Singed players are ones which get both teams upset at them.

MasterYi will always be the king of that ^^ our team: oh fuck a yi we dont have a jungler enemy team: oh fuck they have a yi we dont have a end game at all...

Soraka with low health champions that deal damage and no true tanks is actually perfectly fine. The objective is to keep everyone alive while they deal loads of damage and it is perfectly acceptable if everyone keeps soraka alive. I see it more often than you would think and it works.

You really don't need a tank top or bottom every game if your team has good CC and can deal damage.

In general, I think yasuo top is not too good because many of the top lane tanks or Juggs can deal loads of damage.

no, it doesn't work, because most tanks also have burst and don't let you do damage or heal.

A Malphite R/E/Q/sheen enhanced W auto will 100-20, if not outright 100-0 most squishies, and that's just Malphite.

A Zac E/R/Q/W with thunderlords and Runic does the same thing.

In his Elo it can totally work. Better players (probably high gold or higher) will capitalize on tankless teams with a Soraka. But this guy is playing in silver or bronze elo, at that point tankless teams shouldn't matter at all. Even in low Gold I see tankless teams with a Soraka play perfectly well with just a high damage comp like Graves Kindred Quinn Soraka Caitlyn or a mix to that effect. ADCs were at one point going everywhere prior the slight nerfs to a few. I mean you are platinum you probably don't see it as often but in silver and bronze if you can play a champion well your comp doesn't matter too much.

You need either a Tank/bruiser, some CC, and some magic damage somewhere on the team without exception. No good team is going to lose to a full AD comp of squishies with no hard CC. Last picking Yasuo top into a squishy all AD comp is basically on par with picking AD Morgana.

No tank? Their divers roll right over your nonexistent frontline. No CC, same story. No magic damage? Everyone on their team stacks armor and suddenly you can barely hurt them.

I guess my point is, that most Bronze and Silver games the comp does not matter too much. It is just about how you play with your champion. You play to your personal strengths and should not select specific champions due to a "meta" at that position if you are not good with that champion. If you don't know how to play LeeSin or Nidalee in the jungle but you can play XinZhao play the latter.

That was likely the logic of that player and he shouldn't be criticized for playing the champion he/she may be strong with due to you or your teammates thinking it is a suboptimal comp for the team. Those types of decisions may be important at higher Elo, but where a majority of the NA community plays, it doesn't matter. Your best bet always at the low elo is to play what you are good with.

Full AD and Full AP comps can win and low Elo players do not effectively capitalize on suboptimal comps.

I actually really hated Xin Zhao in Bronze because 9/10 times his ult just fucks over all of the AoE users on your team.

Hey man, if you want a tank then play a tank.

If you want more tanks, then start maining tanks.

If you want a tank but won't play one, expect to be in squishy teams.

so what if you are ADC and get mid/top/jungle that plays all squishy melees with no CC?

I'm not the ADC, I'm the bot laner. (Locks in Mord.)

Refer to point 3.

I'd actually played with a Katarina Support as ADC.

Luckily, I was Varus so I had the poke and lock-down to make up for it and we stomped.

I'm just happy I enjoy playing CC-tank junglers; it makes so many team-comps work when they really shouldn't.
