Things your teammates do that tilt you?

what do your teammates do that tilt you, other than feed?

As a jungle main one of the things that tilts me the most, is when i gank and we get the kill, sometimes i'll push and sometimes I'll let my teammate push it, just depending on hp/where the lanes at/etc. Sometimes I'll push if i notice my teammates recalling (after walking away slightly) so it's reset when he gets back, my teammate then BREAKS recall so he gets that x amount of CS. Like wtf... just recall or push to begin with.

Another thing i despise is when there's two people running to clear a wave, but someone will TP to it so they get it and not their teammate. -_-. This one i hate especially regardless of who they're taking the cs from. Like... it's not like the waves crashing into tower. Someone would've gotten it, but na you'd rather blow our TP pressure to make sure you get the CS someone was already on their way to

a teammate who recognizes they're 0-8 and worthless for the team.

then they give up all hope, stop trying, and just want to ff asap.

meanwhile the score board is only 22-27 or something (say 4k gold lead) and their own team mates are big. but this person wants to make it a 4v6.

and im just saying "its ok vayne, you just have to hit condemn and well win"

like i can understand if there are no win conditions present. fine w/e give up. but theres still 1 or 2 ways to win this game and before trying those things, you want to give up because YOU aren't the one who got big and carried the game.

I'm pretty tough to tilt, but the fastest way to tilt me is constantly pinging for literally no reason. I'm talking when I'm spamming help pings and running into the enemy team to engage, and my team (once I'm already stuck in with no way out) starts pinging me back, and then when I die, spams me with question mark pings. Seriously, just engage while your Nunu is getting off a full channeled 5-man ult and bursting every single member of their team to under half health while also soaking up every single one of their abilities in an attempt to kill him before he gets the full channel off, but they won't because I'm hard to kill. You'll find that we win teamfights when you do.

The other day, this exact thing was happening. It was 20/40, but we were still winning every single teamfight because of how much my ult chunked them. However, my team REFUSED to group, with 1 or 2 people always splitting.

jungles that list hit your enemy when you clearly have the kill steal it then kill your entire minion wave before running off after spending about 5 minutes doing jack shit nothing..

ALL-

  • WATCH THE MAP. If I'm in dragon pit alone, don't run towards me, I'm pretty sure I can solo it at that point. And ping MIA when both bot laners leave, they're coming for me. Same goes for everywhere else. You notice enemies moving on the map and they shouldn't be there? Ping it.
  • WARD. I don't care if you don't know where to drop them, just don't a) drop them right next to each other and b) try to put them somewhere the enemy team isn't going to sweep for them unless you put it there for specific vision (like a river bush - can almost never go wrong warding a river bush).

Jungle -

  • teammates clearing my camps (especially early) and/or not warding at all. Just ask first for the camps, and don't ask for ganks if you aren't warding.
  • if I've died twice trying to gank early, don't ask for ganks until I get on a better item footing. Jungling is slower exp (unless you're Ivern) so when everyone in lane is 5-6 jungle is usually level 4, etc.

Support -

  • Don't ask me to play something I'm not comfortable with. I may have Thresh, doesn't mean I'm good with him.
  • Don't get on me for feeding unless you're really sure it's actually feeding. I may have died like 8 times, but if 7 of those were to step in front of my ADC so THEY didn't die and can get fed, it's not feeding, it's playing smart. I KNOW more deaths is bad, but at some point you stop being worth gold, and strategically, the support is the only role that can 'afford' deaths to help their team, hence the gold income items. It's part of the job to make the sacrifice play, a good ADC/team won't make it necessary very often.
  • Supports have cooldowns too. Just because I can heal doesn't mean I a) have the mana or b) am off cooldown. If I ping at less than 20% mana, there's a reason for it. Don't expect a ton of help at that point.
  • I know I'm supposed to be the team ward-monkey, but that doesn't mean you don't have to ward at all. The more wards on the map the better. Don't yell at me for not having vision if you have two wards in your inventory you haven't touched all game.

Mid -

  • Most picked on lane because, well, it's in the middle and the shortest. 'EVERYONE GROUP MID', right? Pay attention when mid pings because it usually means something bad is happening, like getting ganked or we're about to lose a tower or the enemy Syndra or Kat decided to go MIA....
  • Ignite is not the be all and end all of mid spells. If I take exhaust as Morgana or Fiddles, it's so I can drain you to death. If I take ghost as Talon over flash or with flash, odds are I'm basing my game on mobility/burst.

Bot Carry -

  • Don't take my CS while I'm in lane. EVER. Carry is the squishiest role, and I REALLY need that gold to buy my uber expensive 1300 gold first item piece, let alone the 850+ gold other two pieces of said first item. If I'm gonna carry, make sure I get all the gold I can. Give up a kill so I can get fed. It wins games.
  • Don't ask me why I didn't ult just then (truly global ults are mostly ADC specific). Odds are, something was happening to me and my map awareness was limited to 'OH HOLY S*** their jungle is coming in!'
  • Try to play a support who will compliment my champ. Cait or Jhin need a champ locked down to do their best damage. Bring someone with a stun or who can defend them for the second of 'hold on I'm aiming'. I'm Teemo or Twitch? Grab someone who will be able to block for me so I can get into position and use my stealth to best advantage. If you pick a support with no sustain, CC, or overall tankiness, I'm going to assume you're trolling unless you explain it to me in champ select - heck I might even change my champ to fit the strategy better.

Top -

  • I don't play top, so, auto-fill. 'Nuff said.

Not necessarily tilting but a major mistake I've noticed since queuing up with lower MMR friends:

If you are playing support and you lose your tower first, the majority of the time you need to come mid. Too many times have I seen our bot lose tower and then the support just sits bot with the adc soaking xp while the enemy adc, support, and mid siege our mid tower.

Ward for your adc and then come mid. There is nothing for you to do bot. Let your adc split push and get solo xp while you rotate and help defend mid.

Junglers who invade with no vision of the enemy jungler while their laners are pushed in. Then they get collapsed on and give one of the enemy laners a double buff.

Anastaecia1 votes

Pretty much everything...no wards, no upgrading wards, not defending towers, not taking free enemy towers, running past enemy minions in our base to get back into the fight, diving towers like a pro (except they aren't, so they die 9 times out of 10), jg ganking and dying, ppl who keep fighting til the death no matter what (it's OK to retreat...the goal isn't kills), etc

I'll stop there before I get tilted thinking about it too long.

when jungling it's when "allies" tend to take all except one monster and complain i'm doing terrible for support though is when the adc won't let me cash in stacks of my fotm, people complaining about only 4 wards on the map (all from me) and them sitting on 2 stacks of trinkets, and last but not least when adc runs it down bot when i get him 5 kills and decide to roam, deep ward, and gank mid

Spam ff because they died one-two times in lane.

Whenever they type in chat I feel the sudden urge to flash into the enemy's tower and die, idk if just me though xd

When my teammates don't itemize correctly, especially when they're losing lane/in a losing matchup

IE I had a kat on my team the other day that got killed by lb early on in the game, then got killed again a few minutes later

their team had 3 magic dealers

I looked in her inventory to see...a hextech revolver

where's the at least negatron cloak???

I don't understand

  • Constantly begging for a surrender. That is the surefire way to make sure I always hit "No". If I can see that it's unwinnable, I may even start a vote. But the second someone starts whining, I always press "no" in every single vote from that point forward. Even if every single one of our turrets and inhibitors are gone.
  • It's even worse when I'm a carry and fed, and everyone on our team BUT that one person is ahead. I, instead of taking an easy win in a fight, am forced to waste my time clicking "no", because one dumbass thinks it's over.
  • Nevermind that it always happens stupid-early in the game, when not even one turret is down yet.
  • Prioritizing Baron over inhibitor turrets or better. Baron is NOT worth more than two turrets and an inhibitor! If we win a team fight through luck, and secure an Ace, TAKE THE ARCEUS-BLASTED INHIBITOR AND ITS TURRET! IT'S WORTH MORE THAN BARON TO US!
    • The above, but when they go for Baron when we're too far behind to steal it, AND our Nexus is at risk. I have legitimately screamed at my screen for people doing this.
    • Or attempting to take Baron while the enemy Shaco is still alive...
  • Not buying item 3047 and item 3075 against a team with Nasus, Draven, and MasterYi. I've seen it, and it makes me cry.
  • Or not buying item 3036/item 3033 against a team full of tanks. Or buying the wrong goddamned one.
  • "Helping" with drake when I've told you I don't need you to help, I need you to apply pressure so I don't die.
  • People that don't buy a single item 2055 in the game, yet complain about a lack of vision (or problems caused by it).
    • Hell, simply not buying a ward is bad enough. I understand, if you don't have the space/gold, but I've seen people wait for a second dagger, rather than buying a single ward. I manage it in every role, in every lane, so you can do it, too.
  • Anyone that tries to be a "support" for me. It's tilting enough to beat a Brand "support", I don't need you being one too, and I am legitimately going to report you for anything I possibly can if you support me with one. It doesn't matter how much you help, or if you single-handedly save the game. If I am the ADC, and you declare a support that can build damage, I will warn you once to not build damage (unless we have literately no other source of magic damage). If you go full AP anyways, I will include every single possible fault in my report. If you even say "damn it", I'll report you for offensive language. I'M ALREADY TILTED ENOUGH BY THE ENEMY MALZAHAR SUPPORT, I DON'T NEED YOU PICKING BRAND OR VEIGAR. (Now, if you go as a mage support, and actually support (no damage items, except to make your utility stronger, such as, say, item 3089 on Soraka, AND you actually buy a sightstone at some point in time), I'll be perfectly fine. But you had better fucking not buy item 3285, or I'll pin our inevitable loss on you (which will probably be true, as we're beaten by their utility/CC-laden Soraka, Leona, or Braum)
  • Above applies to things such as Yasuo top, but to a lesser extent. If you don't cover our bases (make sure mid's AP, and jg is a tank), I'm going to be pissed, and if we lose because of you placing your entertainment over our victory, I'm going to report you for that.
  • "It's just normals", "It's just bots", and even "It's just flex" being used as shitty excuses for blatant trolling. I don't give a shit if it's an intro bot match or the finals at Worlds itself, it doesn't excuse you trolling, stealing lanes, instalocking, or anything of the sort. The first two are acceptable for trying out unusual or off-meta, yet still potentially viable, picks or builds for the first time. Things from weird toplaners to unusual builds are fine, so long as we have at least one tank, one mage, one marksman, and 5 hard or 10 soft CC abilities total. This can be done in ranked, so long as you've done it several times before. You can do Ahri jg, if you want, but you had better have done it before, so I can be certain you know what you're doing. I treat normals only slightly less serious as ranked, and many others do the same. You do not get to ruin my fun just because of the gamemode. Period.
  • Grouping mid when we already have that inhibitor, and it's nowhere close to reviving. We only need one person, at most, to hold it. Rotate to top or bot, and take another turret and inhib. Take their base with two down, not one.
  • Chasing after my 9001th ping that it's a trap. I'm not fucking quoting Star Wars for my own amusement, I'm telling you that going into that spot is suicide. I don't care that Heimerdinger is low and has nowhere to run, it's bait, and I can see it.

There's more, but this is already an essay…I'll stop for now.

I agree with the trolling in ranked and giving the excuse that it is just normals. Even so, you should still try to win. It triggers me when people give excuses for playing like shit, when I am trying to win. A game is still a game, so why not try to win

When you are getting leashed as the junglers and they ks the buff accident or not.

When you lock in each other's champs and they forget to trade you (I once had to jg yasuo and the midlaner had to midlane kindred, we ff right at 20....)

When you are mid and go to get blue buff, use your whole combo to get it fast so you can get back to lane faster, but they just smite it leaving you oom and forcing you to back.

When the jungler does that^ then walks into the enemy jungle and dies and pings at base and flames that I'm terrible and have no map awareness because I kept recalling and didn't help even tho I had no mana

Feeders.

Toxic people.

People who give u in the first 10 minutes.

I LOVE THIS THREAD! I got tilted just reading the title LOL!

I am also a JG main. Things that tilt me;

  1. Enemies missing pings. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Seriously we need to be able to silence pings. The enemy isn't missing. He just killed me and is right there. Next to you when you didn't help. Remember when I pinged for help and you didn't follow me? Stop pinging me. This is tilting and doesn't help.

  2. People asking for ganks when I am on the opposite side of the map. I don't have TP and Im busy ganking a different lane. Asking is ok, but repeat requests over and over in a short amount of time is annoying. I am working on rotating to you, just wait.

  3. People saying GG or FF when it's 3 mins in. We haven't lost yet so put on your big boy pants and get ready to play the fcking game. Tissue for your issues?
