Was Sylas Ever Leaked?

Just curious.... did Sylas actually get introduced without a leak?

And, I actually love the kit.

Not entirely overpowered pulls, but still some pull potential.
Pretty basic Slow/Heal based kit.
The ultimate will be balanced by whether he builds AD or AP (Hijacking an AD ult wouldn't be very powerful if he builds AP, or otherwise), and also requires you to learn other champions intimately (Some champs don't even have an ult worth stealing, or wouldn't be useable on him (Nidalee, Jayce, Rek Sai, Kai Sa, to name a few..... there's a lot, since many kits require other skills to use a kit effectively, like Illaoi's R needing W).

It's basically going to punish champs who have one off ults of the same stat base as Sylas.

I believe that was a Riot Teaser..... not a leak. Neeko, Zoe, Evelynn rework.... actually had leaks which rushed their releases because the metadata got outside of Riot (Evelynn's rework mesh was posted in a video by Brofessor, the streamer). I believe even Pyke was leaked.

There was a leak predicting he could lift up enemy champions and throw them, his ult is an AoE table flip. But that was the same leak that predicted an Anti-SG-Syndra skin, so that says a lot about its credibility.

Not a leak by your definition then, more like a teaser. We knew it was going to be a Demacian and also were pretty sure it had to be that guy from the story.

what... he was released now because it was time for his release, not because of a leak from over a week ago

People believed the chains to be some kind of Kayle or Morgana rework teaser. Which btw, was shown in Riots 2018 roadmap.

I supposed there was a figure of a human in the illustration but there was emphasis on the large golden chains.

But aside that, no. It's kinda what they did with Neeko's teaser. "Colorful mage!" was the only hint we got. Instead we got an anthropomophic lizard wizard. Which almost had nothing to do with color. Besides shifting into different models and skins. The flower ended up being her signature of who is the real champion and who is the Neeko 'clone'.
