Where are items for Juggernauts?

I know that there are item 3742 item 3053 and item 3071 , but not all Juggernauts use these, and many other champs use them pretty well too. Now when Juggernauts want to get tanky, they buy the same tanky items that pure tanks use: item 3110 , item 3025, item 3065 etc, which is why if we wanted to buff Juggernauts through items, tanks would get even more OP (hello Ornn , Maokai etc). The biggest problem with Juggernauts is CC creep being too high - they get kited to death while not being durable nor dealing any significant dmg. Knockups are the biggest culprit here, but things like Tristana's ulti also easily invalidates their usage once they reach the backline. That being said, they need an item that suits only this subclass and that deals with the said issue: ,,Titan's Mace'' is what I'd call it. This item should be melee only, grant base AD the same way item 3053 does. Instead of a shield, it should have an active part that charges up for X seconds (can be interrupted), increases champion's size, applies Grounded debuff to the user while granting immunity to displacement effects for X seconds (knockups, knockbacks, pulls). This way they'd get hit even easier, but they won't be bounced around as a ping pong balls as they visually would also fit the Titan theme (and no one moves large objects at will).

Thoughts and opinions?

P.S. Added applies Grounded debuff, this way assassins and tanks won't ever like to have this item.

Make it so the item grounds you. Juggernauts don't have dashes anyways.

Defensive itemization is actually not that great, aside from the support items. Tanks are just inherently gold efficient, so they make better use of the much cheaper itemization. In S2, defensive itemization was legit strong, yet bruisers didn't generally lose to tanks in lane.

The main problem is the lack of %damage reduction and early resists via masteries/runes, which let bruisers rush their core items without having to worry about defense unless against a truly lopsided matchup (i.e. Teemo, Ryze, Kennen). There are plenty of ways to amplify damage through both runes and itemization, but limited ways to mitigate it.

I like your item idea. But I'd feel safer about it being created if there were class restrictions rather than range restrictions. It would be more complicated to implement, but the idea would be to allow people to choose what class they intend to build their champion as, locking them out of certain items while also unlocking other items availability in the shop.

a self grounding item would fuck with their use of the summoner. it would be incredibly awkward to use.

before we could introduce any base ad increasing items, wed need to detach item 3057 item 3078 item 3025 from these items somehow.

otherwise youd just get people running multiple of these juggernaut items, and hit with 800 damage sheen procs.

heck, i switched to triforce on garen for most of my games since the steraks change, since steraks empowered sheen procs scale up to over 400 damage on him.

intersting point actually. an item that makes you ground yourself could work as a juggernaut specific item. even if it didnt have the specific ability to make you immune against displacements. i mean it could work as a restriction to make a health item only work well on juggernauts in general.

the only problem i see is for illaoi, since her w is basically a mini dash. if she grounded herself she wouldnt be able to use it, would she? riot would have to mess around with the ability to make it work despite being grounded.

the only other problem i could think of would be udyrs micro dash on bear stance, and garens micro dash on desisive strike. but they seem to follow different rules. i cant recall having my q blocked by a poppy w before for example.

they need to make juggernauts abilities scale with base ad. give them much higher base ad and reduce damages to compensate.

item 3065 while not being designed for Juggernauts it synergizes so well with most of them that even with another mres item designed specifically for the juggernaut class I think they will still rely on the better healings unless ahead
