Ranked

So, i understand that the ranked system is supposed to assess ones skill, and what not. But i am here to throw out that idea. Because last week i placed silver 3 in the flex provisionals. and when i came back today to redo them because apparently there was a bug, i placed bronze 4... now there isnt that big of a skill difference between the 2 ranks, but dont you think that for a ranked system going on its 7th season, it should be a bit more accurate at assessing than what it has given me? i am open to accepting whether i rightfully belong in bronze, or whether i dont, but im not here for that. I'm here to tell my story and see what you guys may have to say upon this finding. it seems kinda odd how i can drop so low or go so high based on 1 game, in which i won the exact same ammount as i did last time, and did even better this time around. Just something for you all to think about, is this ranked system we have really accurate? or is it a randomized system that throws you where the number may happen to land on when it rolls the dice.
