The damage is insanely high

Just look at this , having almost 1400 AP at 28th minute of the game.

Riot please, don't wait for the next season to fix the game. You keep losing players, even those who kept playing this game for almost a decade. But it's still not too late to start fixing. You must see that the current state of the game is absurd.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I am not talking about Veigar being OP. This is all about the state of the game, using Veigar as a blatant example. 1400 AP at 28th - this should NEVER happen.

That's just Veigar with item 3089 and some stacks.

Still, it's like 2k magic damage on point-and-click ult with decent range. At least if he had to stack for a long time to achieve this, but no, this is a standard AP amount on Veigar - in just 30 minutes of the game.

Even a 1k ap veigar is still very useful and dangerous.

no.... have you played Veigar? I play him ranked and I've LOST games with that much AP.

Champions like Fizz, and good ADC's can easily kill him if he isn't positioned well and he has 0 mobility.

Yi can out dps 1k AP veigar, but the difference is, Veigar has to land abilities, and Yi can simply ignore any ability with his Q...

I never wanted to imply that Veigar is OP. He must scale this fast, otherwise he would be shit compared to other champs. Look at EDIT of the post, I admit it was ambiguous before.

He doesn't scale fast, I was at 1.4k AP but it takes me 40 minutes and a you can be held down if someone zones you or harasses in lane

In this meta, how the heck did you let a Veigar get so farmed when Assassins and gold funneling is so prevalent? Did he go bot lane or something instead of mid?

And not "I'm immune to assassin burst and dives that are now prevalent this meta." So how did he survive long enough to get so high and get his items?

Yeah because melee can definitely prevent you from farming under tower, counter your damage, and counter your range.

And he definitely cannot punish you with his E. Nope.

You never played Veigar against Akali, Zed, Katarina, Talon or such, have you? Veigar is too squishy to survive a dive at six...or an all in before hand. Stun or meteor drop or no.

You never played against a good veigar.

Zed clone can have an E placed on it. He teleports. Bam.

Kat dagger? Same thing.

Akali? Why are you even that close to her when you have your W and can back away after use?

Talon? Still stunnable. Not sure how he 'teleports' to you.

A good Veigar would play passive defensive but punishing against these.

Nobody is going to just farm the entire game** just to prevent a veigar from farming.**

Also I have played Veigar against around 2-3 of them in one game. Thanks.

YOU never saw a good Zed, Talon, Kat or Akali, they counter Veigar insanely hard.

Bish please. Blitzcrank supposedly counters Fiddlesticks. Same with Sona. I almost always win lane against them.

'Counters' mean shit to me.

Counter champion doesn't give an excuse to be brainless. And that is exactly what you are trying to argue.

Honestly, if you play brain dead, you shouldn't complain. Pro players know how to space and how to farm in a losing lane. You don't. And I just obviously proved counters mean nothing to me when they can't win against me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize kill stacking (minions as ex) is even worse when the damage is increased.

But keep your willful ignorance.

A lot of that has to do with infinite stacking and scaling. Damage just made it faster.

...Which people should have realized would have become a problem a while ago but vehemently denied.

I am all up for scaling champs, but jesus dont let them scale so incredibly fast ... But sadly they have to, otherwise they would be out of viable champs pool instantly.

That is my point though. There was going to be a patch that did this. And here it is.

There should be a cap so this doesn't become a balancing nightmare for Riot in the future.
