Question: Does CC with no damage give you an assist?
Ive gotten back into karthus support (those nerfs ruined it for me...), and im noticing that im not getting assists as often as i should be?

cage that doesn't touch the enemy, merely surrounds them, grants assists. It's an extreme example, but it is one where you can do no damage with your CC and get an assist.
