Why the cathcup Xp though?
Like.... if a player is getting outplayed enough in jungle to be down multiple levels isn't it better for them to learn from this while simultaneously rewarding the other jungle for outplaying their counterpart?
I will admit I don't even know if this concept exists in 3v3... I know it does in 5v5. Been sick of it all season in 5s and then saw it again last night in 3s making me again ask the question "why". I was level 13 while enemy jungler" (didn't have smite or jungle item so??) was level 10. We lose one fight and he does a couple camps or something and next you know we same level....... Just made me even wonder why I waste time trying to stay ahead. Killing jungle camps feel so underwhelming these days.
When you see a jungler be multiple levels down from their counterpart these days you KNOW they are bad at jungling. It's almost impossible to get outplayed that much with catch up jungle xp. Maybe this was a way for Riot to reduce snowballing in jungle but..... the game snowballs harder in season 7 rather than season 6 so don't see how that helped. I guess now its not just the jungler snowballing but rather one entire team. Not sure about you all but I much prefer having to fight 1 or 2 fed players on enemy team and having a chance rather than an entire enemy team that kill us all in a few hits.
Season 7 been my least favorite season of League in years. I have played maybe 300 ranked game this season across all my accounts. Which sounds like a lot until you realize I averaged 1,000 ranked games in season 5 & 6 and over 600 in season 4. This game just so dull these days :*(
