A change for doran's shield

I know that there are hundreds of threads about this item, and I know that the item, in it's current form can't be made strong, else everyone would abuse it, but that's exactly for these two reasons that I thought "yeah, why don't I try to make some theoretical changes to it like everyone since it's fun?" so here it is.

Doran's Shield:

+80 health

Unique Passive - Whenever there are no allied champions within 800 units you gain Refreshment and Well Protected. Unique Refreshment - You gain 8 health regeneration per 5 seconds (1.6hpr/s) doubled when out of champion combat. (halved for ranged champions) Unique Well Protected - Enemy champions' auto attacks and unit targeted abilities deal 8 reduced damage to you, doubled against ranged champions. (halved for ranged champions)

Pros: 1 - The Unique passive prevents you from stacking the item and from using it in a duo lane (800 units are quite a lot). 2 - Since you need to stay out of champion combat it's not good on poke champs and lane bullyes, so no Darius/Renekton/Fiora with infinite sustain will be created; 3 - Since ranged champions have an easier time poking on melee laners, you will block more damage from them helping those champions who struggle too much; 4 - By halving the effects on ranged champions, this version of doran's shield is a lot weaker than the one we have right now for them so no ranged top laner can abuse this;

Cons I can think about: 1 - Aggressive champions can buy this against more passive ones making theyr lane extremely easy; 2 - Might promote passive top laners making lane bullyes a lot more prominent;

Thinking about refreshment I was a bit usnure as to wether make it out of "champion combat" or simply "combat", here is why I decided to opt for the first: The out of combat prerogative is there so that aggressive laners don't abuse the items during all-ins or to poke, but making it simply "out of combat" would mean you couldn't use in case you got a kill but you ended up being low but you also need to push the wave, which means that you would lose staying power, which is the main reason to buy this item. Also that would make you lose even more farm in a situation where maybe you just want to afk farm to sustain after taking a lot of punishment from the enemy, which is exactly what the item is supposed to be good at.

Cut the doubled health regen (and maybe make it 12 reduced damage vs ranged) and I think you actually have a plausible anti ranged item.
