Oh hey look I won lane
Oh wait...the enemy bot won and the enemy jungler camped top and got rift and took 2 towers...
Nah I totally deserve this loss. Thanks Riot.

wins and losses don't matter getting better is how you climb, no reason to ever focus on your teammates mistakes when you are making plenty yourself.
Yeah my mistake of queueing up during the worst season for scaling champs like I usually play.
My mistakes in game don't even compare to how much power the enemy has from snowballing and how helpless I am to stop them because it's 8 minutes into the game and I haven't backed yet.

you are at the rank you deserve to be, when you fix your mistakes and get better at the game you will win more and climb.
I really don't think I deserve S2 after being gold for 3 seasons and ending G2 last season.
Could it be, maybe, just maybe, this game is becoming more luck based? Or you know I guess challenger players are wrong too =/

you can lose skill, tilting is a big factor and if you allow yourself to tilt to a lower rank then that's where you deserve to be until you fix your mental state. put a challenger player in your position taking over your character they would win 80-90% of the games at your elo. meaning you have a ton to improve on.
I guess all the challenger players deserve plat then since that's where they placed =/
and why would the challenger lose 20% of their games? Why would they not win 100%?

and why would the challenger lose 20% of their games? Why would they not win 100%? all the challengers that were placed plat1 climbed out of plat1, if they didn't its because they lost there skill nothing more. and the reason why a challenger player won't have a 100% winrate is because when your winrate gets so high you get a high mmr and will most likely face other high elo smurfs/ challenger smurfs and the occasional inter running it down mid
But you said getting better is how you climb. How can a SINGLE person hold you back?
But you said getting better is how you climb. How can a SINGLE person hold you back?
a single person can't hold you back a single person can give you a loss yes but your not seeing the bigger picture, you don't get an inter everygame 1 loss is not stopping you from being able to climb this is proven by almost every challenger player that makes a smurf account and climbs with generally a 70-90% winrate dropping down to 50-60% when they get near challenger. even with inters in there games they manage very high winrates. the only 1 person that can hold you back is yourself all evidence CLEARLY shows it has nothing to do with luck.
So you're saying 1 person can lose me the game. Now imagine getting that person on your team 50% of the time. That's the coin flip. Winning your lane as a carry almost guarantees the win, especially if you're smurfing and/or in this snowbally ADC/Jungler meta.

the thing is you THINK your teamates are holding your back yet when the challenger player takes your position they win 80% of the time. again all evidence proves you wrong, match making is designed fair and that's why high elo smurfs CONSISTENTLY even with inters once in a while still manage to climb with high winrates very very consistently there is never a case where someone can't climb because of inters this illogical you belief you have of your team holding you back has been disproven countless times you just refuse to accept you aren't as good as you think you are. and btw your math is horrible. its not 50/50 if you get an inter. your ignoring the fact the other team could have an inter too, you probably think someone having a bad game is inting true inters happen very rarely because they get banned fast you refuse to accept evidence
I don't think you understand, team mates holding you back in a game doesn't mean I deserve challenger, nor does it mean they're bad. In this meta I've seen good players get stomped in one game because they fell behind and next game they dominate.
you cant expect to win all games where you win the lane, i hope you understand that
That's the thing, my laning phase isn't even over and the game already is. I've had games where we lose from a throw or someone being caught but those were at 40 minutes. But now? It's pretty much reliant on bot lane, first tower, rift herald, and which team takes the lead then groups 5 mid or bot for a huge push where you just have to give up towers.

play less kata and more xerath because he is much more broken than kata
I feel like I do better on Kat for the team. I roam a lot more on her, Xerath I just cause pressure in my lane by shoving and letting minions kill the paper towers.

kata have problem that she take many kills and is easily neutralizable in lategame. if you take less kills with her and give more kills to your teammates then you might win more. if you take many kills and get cced lategame then it is your fault that you lost the game
I usually just wait for the enemy to waste something on my front line, or sometimes I E onto a dagger in the middle of them, use my W, zhonyas, and they waste skillshots, E off of the dagger reset, and ult ignite gunblade.
I play Xerath and I find it very hard to carry as him since no one lets you poke

noone lets you use your ulti ?
I sure as hell don't. A good Xerath getting fed is a pain in the butt.
When your team engages while you ult it's not poke.
I guess the real question would be "What could you have done to impact other lanes in a health way?" Usually it's a bit more, but in-the-moment really never makes it seem like a potential option. Personally, I sometimes feel the same way about how I can't impact a game past laning phase. Depending on the champ, I usually can swing a good teammate into a positive streak, even if we lose anyway.
It's a 5v5 game. It's not a 1v5 game. Everyone has to really hit a bare minimal skill level to really win a game and if everyone isn't doing that, it's going to definitely be a loss or at least an uphill struggle.
Nothing I could have done to help them. I can't roam if my bot doesn't ward or sweep for enemy wards. I can't go top if my top laner tries to shove without warding then cries about ganks. I usually do roam, but I can't match the jungler.
If i remember correctly you once mocked me for complaining about trolls or because i posted some advice that triggered insecure garbage players, double standards much?
When was this? Looking at your posts, I only once told you that you rage quit a game, making you the thing you complained about.
I don't have trolls, I have a game where the snowball is too hard. Nobody on my team was afk, or trolling, etc.
I never ragequitted a single game since season 3 when i installed, and those were the ashe mid/heart of gold days.
You dodge because someone bans your champ, call everyone "bronzetards" and "trolls". You quit that lobby and game.
Hey look, I - a single person out of 5 people won lane! I deserve to win the game, even more than the enemy team who won 2 lanes out of 3.
This backward ass logic always amuses me, why do you deserve to win just because you won lane? This is a team game.
I think you missed the point of something big here.
In the time it took one lane to end, another had lost TWO towers. Just let that sink in.
And with this meta, bot lane winning lane = winning game.
If anything that is because of your team mates lack of skill. Even a losing lane can hold tower for a decent amount of time, and that's not even talking about 2nd tower.
And no, botlane isnt auto win stop looking for excuses i won lane plenty times and lost to a fed assassin or a fed unkillable tank, it's a team game.
Not with Rift and how weak towers are with 2 people up there.
"excuses"
Facts* and here's some more:
-most top lane pro players are quitting -most assassin mains are upset at how weak assassins are unless they go 10-0, and even then Vayne can beat them -most people are angry at the balance of the game, because there is none -most games aren't decided by the team, it's decided by the snowball
Maybe we are looking at this all wrong. Maybe all these mechanics aren't meant to make us look bad, maybe they are meant to make the truly genius players shiine? Like what if League is really just a recruitment tool and only the top elite make the cut?
Oh wait we can't even join the LCS anymore, nevermind.
We can;t? Why not :( I want to be TSM's new support since they lost a lot after last worlds :^)
LCS franchised, and Riot did away with Challenger trials.
So to start a new team in the LCS costs 13 million dollars (+another 10 million and roughly another 5 million a year in paid salaries annually), instead of just forming a team and competing in tournaments (like we used to be able to do). And you have to know someone to get drafted (or come up with the 10m+3m+(10m+5m annually).
Also because of franchising you can only qualify for drafting to teams from your native region (so you could still join TSM maybe).
=/
Didn't TSM win today?
Anyway Halcyon isn't on right now so he can't yell at me for saying this:
Riot only cares about the $$$
I used to believe differently but yeah, once LCS hit it big they just stopped trying to be a company that cares about the playerbase. All they want to do is attract people to the game to a minimal degree to make them watch LCS.
I think it was planned, with the amount of money and resources dumped into the season1 worlds as well as how the LCS revolutionized esports, then developed for 5 years until tencent finalized takeover and direction of everything shifted to profits and marketing. I mean even the pro-players benefiting from the LCS constantly talk about what a joke it has become. But I think we have had this conversation before.
Anyway if your professional aspirations don't pan out, got a team we're trying to put together that could use a support/mid. >:]
I'm a self proclaimed mid lane main playing mid ever since I started 2 weeks ago :^)
Yeah I'm an adc main since the season began, but only for ranked :P
