Miss Fortune's identity got destroyed by this rework

I'm not saying it's a bad rework; in fact, I actually think it's one of the better ones (much better than Quinn's, for example). But, what MF used to be was a lane bully with some of the highest base stats in the game. The reason she was so good in lane was because her kit included everything: poke from her Q, burst with AA + Q + AA, sustained trading with impure shots, and a pseudo-execute with her ult. That being said, she scaled poorly into mid-lategame because her Q and ult reduced her DPS and her AS steroid wasn't quite as good as some other champions'.

What I think Riot seems to be trying to do with her update is to give her teamfight potential to capitalize on her lane strength (much like the darius rework). However, the new update seems to have removed her laning power entirely. Her base AD and AD scaling were heavily reduced, impure shots was removed: in exchange, she received love tap (which really doesn't help except for your first auto) and an ult that does more damage over a longer time.

Miss Fortune is by no means weak; her ult deals upwards of 3k damage and 110% attack speed is amazing considering every other champion with a comparable steroid has low base AS and AS scaling. Still, I don't like the way 5.22 changed her identity from lane bully to yet another lategame powerhouse. My suggestion? Nerf love tap, nerf her ult, move the power to her Q.

Love tap an champ, hit an minion, then hit the champ again for love tap.

Also her Q apply the passive. so it can do monstrous damage if the first target dies cause of the bonus damage+love tap.

MF is still a very big lane bully. Only now you can lane bully both enemy champs thanks to love tap instead of just trying to focus on one with impure shots.

She is still a good lane bully..... You just have to switch targets to proc her passive. Her passive + Q bounce does a lot of damage.

MF is a huge lane bully... Moreso than she was before lol. I'm a plat mf main and I can assure you that the only identity she lost was mixed damage. I've gotten triple kills by ulting in the enemy's fountain before i was even level 16. She still has the identity of being a wombo combo queen, she still has her breasts, she still has amazing laning phase, she still struts, she still hits multiple targets (Q and W reward this by adding more punch by managing love tap). The only other identities she could have lost is that Quinn is now a better roaming carry and that she's not rewarding to novice players (managing love tap, positioning well as an immobile squishy, channeling her ult for 3 seconds, reactivating strut, kiting is super important because if you get caught up to you won't escape).

But does she have an identity after the rework? IT seems to be a poke you once and move on identity now.

Her identity is a wombo combo champ just like before but realized the way it should have been in the first place.

Miss Fortune is pretty overpowered right now, It's not that she's bad at lane bullying It's that now she scales so well into late game with her Love Tap and Ult that her lane bullying isn't even the most oppressive thing about her. God forbid she has a Sejuani, Amumu, Orianna, Yasuo, Malphite, Kennen, etc etc etc on her team or you'll lose every single fight. They did good at making her a wombo combo champion but she doesn't really have any fall offs. It's not that in particular her laning is bad anymore, It's actually probably stronger than Caitlyn's in most matchups, It's just that she's so strong at every part of the game she has no identity.

With her theme as a Bounty Hunter though, that's a completely different story.

Do you even play miss fortune? There's no way you are lee sin to not see she's even more of a lane bully and wombo combo champ than before.

And her Q+Ulti are her dps AS is just a filler to finish someone off which is perfect

Basically you can't play her so just leave her with those who understand her strengths.....

yea, i really hate the rework...it took everything that made her be MF (dueling, "strength", hybrid-dmg) to force her into this "AoE-Wombo-Carry"-role that makes her basically a press-r-bot lategame. Unfortunatly she´s easier to play correctly now and therefor more powerful for most - and as most players are only interessted in the power of a champion she´ll probably stay that way *sigh* rather similar to what they did to Karma.

she's a better lane bully and has a better mid and late game. what are you even complaining about?

I dont mind the changes, but it was odd at first that she went from having a ton of ramping damage. (w stacking and taking time to stack) to the first hit being strong and everything else weak. It pretty much complete opposites just comparing the two. With the way they portrayed her in the lore tho, the new playstyle fits her new lore better.

Old lore = bounty hunter, single target killing New lore: leader, planner, and brawler (all her fights were in large groups) she really didnt seem much like a bounty hunter. Even GP was more about revenge than money
