What the heck do you do when:

A Shaco literally doesn't leave top lane, not even to get farm, and just literally stays in bushes the entire time? The only thing I've thought of to do is be forced to be behind in CS and likely give up first blood since you don't expect him to be there at level 1 which I would say gives them more of an advantage, and if you kill minions they're still gonna push and you're gonna have to leave tower range, while Shaco can just pop in at any time. If he's patient he's gonna get a kill even RIGHT outside tower range with certain top laners.

Ok first of all, you probably know this but ward the bushes when you can, and buy some pink ones to counter the invisibility. If Shaco stays top, you'll have to hug your tower, which will make you miss a bit of cs but Shaco will so much further behind. When your enemy tries this all-in kill-dependent method, you just need to focus on preserving your own life and they will fall behind.

You can punish them by calling your jg and mid to gank if possible, or letting bot lane know that they're safe from ganks.

Take it as a gift...a jg Shaco that stays in the bush Top is not only proportionately weaker than their counterpart but, they also leach exp causing your opponent to be weaker. I would play a 1v2 top ALL day if it meant my JG could free roam and farm.

I wouldnt care if I went 0-10 because I know the game is a 5v4 come late game when my bot/mid lane got to free farm with no JG pressure.

Last hit minions, this prevents your minion wave from pushing far.

Buy a pink which you place behind you in a bush or in the jungle.

If Shaco isnt successful in his ganks, he'll get behind, and by getting behind, he'll be useless. Also, tell your jungler than Shaco is camping top, so that he can counter jg without problem.

Get a blue trinket in that kind of situation, if unsure of where Shaco is, then use it. Until you can get the blue trinket, just walk a few steps backward, go in your jungle and ward over the wall in the bush (or walk to the bush and ward it, depending on which side you are)

The problem is usually when this strategy occurs it's with someone Shaco can followup with perfectly. For example a Gragas top who just CCs you then Shaco comes in dropping his CC to chain CC me. And yeah, I do last hit minions, but ending up with 1/3rd your enemy's CS when your bot lane and mid lane are still losing just makes your game end in pain. Also I never usually know when this strategy occurs, as a lot of times they appear to Q out of my vision range. I guess I could buy pink wards, but usually I'm so far behind my laner in gold already it just weakens me more. I never know if it's worth buying one or not considering I'll likely die solely by my laner after the first or second kill. I suppose every time I see a Shaco I could just buy a longsword + one pot and a pink, but that would weaken me pretty hard early game too. As for the blue trinket idea, that kinda, being a top laner without yellow wards puts you in a pretty rough spot when you can't TP to them. I suppose it doesn't matter if I'm unable to do anything anyways though.
